Vidya Balan indulges in a fun banter with Raunaq Rajani

Recently, Vidya Balan joined Raunaq Rajani for an episode of his interactive YouTube show, Relationshit Advice, and the duo was joined by comedians, Sumukhi Suresh and Pavitra Shetty. In a video doing rounds on the internet, we can see the comedians indulging in a funny conversation with the actress. During one of the segments, Sumukhi asked Pavitra about the qualities that the latter looks for in her ideal man. To this, Pavitra said:

"Funny, rich and very rich."

Pavitra's answer left everyone in spilts, and the audience couldn't stop laughing. Not only this, the comedian further asked Vidya if there was anyone in the Hindi film industry who possessed the same qualities. Reacting to it, the actress said:

"Oh I thought you're going to say you have anyone? And I was like, 'Yeah, for a while now'."

Then Raunaq asked Vidya about her relationship status and mentioned that she and her husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur have been married for 12 years. Responding to it, the actress shared that she never thought she would get married, until she met Siddharth. Talking about what attracted her towards him, Vidya wittily remarked:

"We have been married for 12 years. Yeah, but I have to tell you I never thought I'd get married. But then I met Siddharth, and.... I said, 'Funny, rich, very rich'."

When Vidya Balan revealed she never wanted to get married

Earlier, in a conversation on Raj Shamani’s podcast, Figuring Out, Vidya Balan opened up about her personal life and shared that she has been a romantic person since her childhood. The actress also revealed that she never wanted to get married in her life, but she changed her mind after meeting Siddharth Roy Kapur. Vidya recalled that she was not mature enough to understand the institution of marriage and always thought that a woman would have to give up on her freedom and will after taking the plunge. However, as destiny had it, while Vidya was pursuing her dream of acting, she met the love of her life, Siddharth and tied the knot with him.
