Sunny Deol is currently basking in the glory of his recently released film, Gadar 2. The film is a sequel to the actor's previous film, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha which was released in 2001. The previous film was every bit iconic, and fans still remember every bit of it. And interestingly, Gadar 2 within a day of its release, has already garnered a lot of success at the box-office. Amidst it all, Sunny Deol reveals what his father, Dharmendra has to say about all the humongous response that his film has received.
At the recent success-press conference of his film, Gadar 2, Sunny Deol revealed what his father, Dharmendra has to say about the massive records his film has been making. For the unversed, the film has already entered the 100-crore club at the box-office and is being loved by everyone. Speaking about his father’s reaction to it all, Sunny mentioned:
“Papa ko kuch kehna nahi hota, who sirf ek jhappi dal denge aur hans denge.”

Well, its not just Sunny who has been enjoying the massively successful record of his film, but his father, Dharmendra, too has taken part in his happy moments. Sharing a glimpse of the same, Dharmendra took to his IG handle and dropped a glimpse of the tokens of gratitude he received on behalf of his son, Sunny’s film, Gadar 2’s success. Along with it, he penned a special note and mentioned:
“Friends, love you all for your loving response Gadar 2. His blessings and your good wishes made it a blockbuster.”
It seems that the entire Deol family is partaking in celebrating the massive success of Sunny Deol’s latest film, Gadar 2. On August 12, 2023, Esha Deol hosted a special screening her half-brother’s film. Apart from close friends and family members, the screening was also attended by Esha and Sunny’s siblings, Ahana and Bobby Deol. The paparazzi stationed outside the venue also caught a priceless glimpse of the four siblings posing together, along with Ahana’s son, Darien.

Sunny Deol is popularly known for his healthy lifestyle and fit body, which he credits to have done as a result of strict hard work and dedication. Speaking along the same lines, the actor, in one of his previous interviews with Deccan Chronicle spoke about his choice to abstain from alcohol and drug intake. He mentioned that since he was the eldest son in the family after his father, and was also a father himself, he had to turn up responsible towards his family.
