Braden Peters, better known as Clavicular, is the most popular face of the controversial trend for men, 'Looksmaxxing'. Recently, a 19-year-old secretly flew from Canada to Los Angeles and spent USD 7,000 traveling to and attending Clavicular's controversial 'Camp Looksmax'. He is now considering USD 40,000 double jaw surgery. According to reports, the 19-year-old William Munro spent USD 2,000 on flights and another USD 5,000 on camp enrolment. The money that Munro spent was earned through odd jobs and gambling.
Munro is a first-year business student from London, Ontario. He did not inform his parents about this trip. They became concerned when he went missing from his home. Munro eventually called his parents while he was waiting at the Toronto airport. It is worth mentioning that Clavicular’s 'Looksmaxxing' is quite famous on the internet. Like many men, Munro also got interested in this trend. For those unaware, 'Lookmaxxing' is an online trend to improve physical appearance.

Munro applied to the camp without initially expecting to be accepted, but received an acceptance call the night before it began. According to reports, the first session of 'Camp Looksmax' began on October 1, 2026. USA Today quoted Munro saying:
"It was a super radical decision. I just thought, I'm a young kid. Money comes and goes. So might as well get the experience out."
Munro was reportedly one of the 15 young men who participated in a seven-day bootcamp at a house in Los Angeles hosted by the controversial online sensation Clavicular. Braden Peters, better known as Clavicular, has time and again drawn significant backlash for the misogynistic language he used during livestreams and his associations with Andrew Tate. The 19-year-old college student said he attended the camp to learn more about Clavicular’s 'Lookmaxxing,' the online trend where young men try to improve their appearances and personalities to better themselves.
At the airport, Munro gave a very basic explanation about 'lookmaxxing' to his parents and lied to them, telling them that he won a giveaway from a YouTuber. He didn’t discuss who Clavicular is or his growing list of controversies, including the rape charges he was facing in September 2026 that were dropped on October 13, 2026. The first session of the camp was livestreamed around the clock on Clavicular's KICK channel.
Clavicular’s 'Camp Looksmax' was advertised as a learning experience where participants would stay in a mansion, get meals prepared by a private chef, receive guidance from mentors, and learn how to improve their looks and become more confident. The LA college student shared that the experience changed his approach to socializing, particularly when it comes to speaking to women. He said he learned to stop overthinking and simply start a conversation with people.
The camp also exposed the young men to more extreme aspects of the looksmaxxing culture, including presentations about cosmetic procedures and jaw surgery. Clavicular’s 'Looksmaxxing' can range from conventional grooming and exercise to more extreme practices promoted online. One example is 'bonesmashing', a dangerous practice involving repeated blows to the jaw only to alter their appearance.

Munro wants to undergo the physical transformation to enhance his look. While he considered himself a good-looking guy with a strong physique, he learned about double jaw surgery, which can involve repositioning the upper and lower jaws at the camp. He is considering USD 40,000 but is concerned about his parents’ reaction.
