Recently, during a launch event of a magazine, Shatrughan Sinha took a dig at Jaya Bachchan's 'gande pants' remarks towards the paparazzi.
A few days ago, Bollywood actress and politician, Jaya Bachchan made headlines when her comment on the paparazzi went viral. While some agreed with her, the majority of the viewers found it rude and disrespectful. Well now, Shatrughan Sinha is grabbing attention as he indirectly took a dig at Jaya's remark.
For those who do not know, a few days ago, Jaya Bachchan commented on the clothes and actions of the paparazzi, while following the celebrities. Well, now at the launch event of Society Achievers magazine, the veteran actor had a light hearted conversation with the paparazzi, during which he appreciated their shirts and pants. His remark left the paparazzi cheering for him and they showered him 'thank you' and 'love you sir'. The veteran actor was sitting beside actress, Poonam Dhillon, who started laughing after his comment. Shatrughan Sinha was quoted as saying:
"Aap log pant bhi achhi pehente hain aur shirt bhi achhi pehente hain. Aap log bohot acche hain."

A few days ago, during a conversation at a public event, the Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham actress, Jaya Bachchan criticised paparazzi and questioned their training and background. She also differentiated between journalists and paparazzi. She also called them unprofessional. She was quoted as saying:
"But ye jo bahar drain-pipe type gande gande pants pehen kar, haath me mobile le ke. They think just because they have a mobile, they think they can take your picture and say what they want and the kind of comments they pass."
Later, a photographer, Varinder Chawla sat down for a conversation with the Hindustan Times and demanded a boycott of Jaya Bachchan for her remarks. He shared that he has been in the business for long and they have always respected celebrities. He recalled an incident of Ranbir Kapoor, when he had asked not to click Raha and the paps respected him. Varinder had shared:
"I have been in the business for so many years, and have respected celebs whenever they said something. Ranbir Kapoor said not to pap Raha, same for Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s dua. In 2023, in fact, I got a video of Amitabh ji from Delhi. Ek fan selfie ke liye aage badhi, unhone bure tareeke se dhakka de diya, chillaye. Seeing his age and image, I sent it to his PR, who requested me so much to not post it, so I didn’t. Humne unki izzat rakhi."
Shatrughan Sinha is a popular Bollywood actor, who was reportedly born on July 15, 1946, in Patna. He studied science at Patna Science College and later trained in acting at the Film and Television Institute of India. He is married to Poonam Sinha and the couple has three children. Over the years, he has appeared in several movies. Some of which are Kalicharan, Shaan, Kaala Patthar, Dostana, Shaan, Kranti, Dost, Loha, Sherni and more. He is popularly known for his dialogue, 'Khamosh'. Apart from acting, he was also a member of Bharatiya Janata Party.
