Sonakshi Sinha ADMITS Facing Rough Patch With Zaheer Iqbal, 'Wanted To Pull Each Other's Hair Out'

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are like missing pieces of a puzzle. They just look perfect together, and their private wedding with only family and friends in attendance was the most talked about. However, due to different religious backgrounds, many thought that their union won't last, but the two never let it become a problem and laughed at the trolls. Recently, Sonakshi opened up about going through a rough phase in her relationship.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal were together for eight years before officially getting married. While fans love their playful nature and funny video posts, not many know that they, too, had their share of tough times. Recently, in a conversation with Soha Ali Khan on her podcast, Sonakshi opened up for the first time about facing a rough patch with Zaheer.

Sonkashi talked about her early days of their dating phase. She revealed that after completing three years of togetherness, they had a bad phase, where they just wanted to pull each other's hair out. She called it a 'three-year itch'. She said: 

"Just when we were three years into the relationship, we had a phase where we just wanted to pull each other’s hair out. No matter what we did, we just couldn’t understand each other’s perspective."

Sonakshi revealed the fights would leave them frustrated, but they wanted to make the relationship work. So that's when Zaheer suggested couples therapy, and Sonakshi instantly agreed. Sonakshi revealed that after just two sessions, their relationship was back on track. It helped them understand each other better.

Sonakshi Sinha got married to Zaheer Iqbal in a registered wedding and it was attended by her parents and all the close family and friends. However, the actress' brother, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha did not attend the wedding, and even maintained a distance from their sister and her husband. There was a strong buzz that they were not happy with Sonakshi's choice of husband. 

Sonakshi Sinha, who worked with her brother, Kussh Sinha in the film, Nikita Roy, revealed they had a fight during the last sequence of the film. In an interview with Times Now, Sonakshi Sinha talked about her fight with her brother, Kussh, on the film set. She shared that it happened during the last shot of the film, when they were shooting at the London Bridge. The scene required her to have an ice cream in her hand, so she chose her favourite flavour, but Kussh didn't like the colour of the flavour.

Sonakshi stated that they had an argument over the colour of the ice cream and how it would not look good on camera. However, due to the heatwave in London, her ice cream melted and they scrapped the idea. She stated that by the end of the last shot, their family dynamics showed on the set.
