Chrishell Stause and G Flip first surprised their fans in May 2023 when they got married in Las Vegas. However, just when fans began to celebrate, reports emerged that they did not get a formal marriage license in Clark County, Nevada. In fact, their wedding announcement also appeared at the end of an Instagram Reel that promoted G Flip's music. Therefore, many critics doubted whether the ceremony was a mere publicity stunt.
Eventually, fans began to question if Chrishell Stause and G Flip's marriage was fake. Some fans even made speculative theories about whether the relationship had any other motives, such as helping the singer get residency in the US. However, the absence of a marriage license did not prove anything. Meanwhile, Chrishell and G Flip assured fans that their commitment to each other was real irrespective of the legal recognition.
Instead of allowing the controversy to define their relationship, Chrishell and G Flip held more ceremonies. The singer later explained that their first Las Vegas wedding was arranged so quickly that their family members got short notice to show up. Therefore, they decided to hold another celebration for their loved ones and another ceremony in Australia for G Flip's family.
Later, G Flip sat down for an interview with People in September 2025. She explained that she and Chrishell had held three ceremonies in a row. The musician also joked about making the tradition an annual event. One of their celebrations had a medieval theme where G Flip dressed as a knight and Stause wore a corset gown. In fact, they marked their commitment to each other by tattooing their wedding vows onto their skin.
For those who don't know, Chrishell and G Flip went public with their relationship in 2022 with the Selling Sunset Season 5 reunion. During the show, Chrishell introduced Georgie Flipo, better known as G Flip. She explained that they were non-binary and used they/them pronouns. They had originally met on Halloween in 2021 while they were dating different people. But eventually they began dating after Chrishell's separation from co-star Jason Oppenheim.
Chrishell Stause announces her split from G Flip after four years
Chrishell Stause and G Flip left their fans in shock on October 26, 2026, after the reality TV star announced her separation. She shared the news through an Instagram video. In the video, Chrishell said that she and G Flip were no longer together.
However, they have agreed to handle the public split with love and respect. Chrishell admitted that she did not have all the information or reasons behind the split. She also acknowledged that she herself was heartbroken and said, "I will always love G."
Chrishell explained that she will always value the more than four years they spent together. She also felt like a failure and shared that relationships can end differently from how people imagine. Later, the musician shared the statement and mentioned that she would also always love Chrishell and cherish their memories together. However, she asked fans to respect their privacy while they dealt with the separation.
Previously, the pair also had openly shared the challenges with their IVF journey and their hopes to start a family. But it was an emotionally challenging process where they had to support each other through difficult phases. G Flip had expressed her discomfort while filming Selling Sunset, describing the experience as "toxic."
