Amid Michelle Saniei and Dr. Dre's dating rumours, her ex-husband, Jesse Lally, gave a surprising reaction.
Michelle Saniei has reportedly found love again after she was recently spotted walking hand in hand with Dr. Dre. The news of the 36-year-old The Valley star dating the 61-year-old rapper came as a shock to many of her fans. And now, Saniei’s ex-husband, Jesse Lally, reacted to the reports of them being in a relationship.
Amid the reports of Saniei finding love, her ex-husband gave a surprising reaction as he said, ‘The Dr. Dre thing… didn’t see that one coming’. In an interview with TMZ, Lally revealed that he didn’t know about Saniei and Dre’s dating and only came to know about the same through social media, like everyone else. In the same interaction, Lally also stated that he had his doubts ever since he saw their daughter, Isabella, wearing a new pair of Beats headphones. For the unversed, Dr. Dre founded Beats Electronics in 2008.
Going forth in the interview, Lally shared that all he wishes is that Saniei be a good mom to their daughter Isabelle amid her relationship with Dre. He further shared how their daughter struggled after Saniei’s breakup with Aaron Nosler. In his words:
“I hope she continues to be a good mom to Isabella, and has Isabella’s best interests at heart, because I don’t think we can work with the same collateral damage that we dealt with, with Aaron and Michelle breaking up. I just hope she’s really focused on Isabella right now… other than that, she can do whatever she wants.”
Michelle Saniei’s ex-husband, Jesse Lally, is a real estate agent, who was also seen with her in the show, The Valley. The duo got married in 2018 but got separated in October 2023. In October 2025, the couple finalised their divorce. Since then, both Saniei and Lally have been co-parenting their daughter, Isabella Bunny Lally.
Soon after her divorce, Saniei went on to date a financial advisor, Aaron Nosler, but that too ended in a messy breakup. In an episode of The Valley: After Show, Saniei addressed her breakup with Nosler and said the split was a surprise to her. She also revealed that Nosler started the conversation about moving in together. However, things turned difficult when he started criticising her lifestyle and fitness.
A few days back, Michelle Saniei was spotted walking hand-in-hand with rapper Dr. Dre. In the pictures, the duo was seen holding hands at celeb hotspot Nobu in Los Angeles. They left the restaurant in a black Mercedes SUV together and were surrounded by what appeared to be security personnel. As per reports, Saniei and Dre met through Saniei’s close friend, Ashley Palmer-Gilkey. Palmer manages Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Records, and through Palmer, Saniei had been connected with Dre for months.
