A private jet faced a terrible crash, with it bursting into flames immediately after nose-diving into a Palm Beach County neighborhood. Amid the outpouring of condolences, rare photos of him with his wife, Cheryl Gregory surfaced.

Jeff Gregory and his wife, Cheryl Gregory's rare pics surfaced

Jeff Gregory was reportedly a 55-year-old family man from Pennsylvania, who was identified as the captain of the Learjet 60 that crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida. He was married to Cheryl Gregory, who is 53 years old as of November 2026. The couple welcomed three children, whose names or ages have not been publicized. Jeff's untimely death left his family heartbroken; however, they haven't issued any public statement yet.

Amid the public's curiosity about Jeff Gregory's personal life, a photo of him with his wife, Cheryl, surfaced. It featured him wearing his black pilot uniform with pride and posing with Cheryl, who had a grey T-shirt on. Notably, her tee was Christmas-themed, and the background seemed to have decorations of green tassels as well, suggesting that the picture might have been taken in or around the Christmas period.

Jeff and Cheryl's image exuded love, warmth, and happiness as they smiled brightly while side-hugging each other. In another photo, the couple was seen twinning in black, with him looking suave in a blazer suit with a red tie and her looking pretty in a dress. They seemed to be attending some event as they posed cheerfully in front of a white floral backdrop.

More about the fatal Learjet crash that killed Jeff Gregory

On November 1, 2026, Jeff Gregory was flying a Learjet 60 N722BD at 35,000 feet heading towards an area of thunderstorm cells amid moderate turbulence and freezing conditions. In an audio recording that has now gone viral, Jeff's co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras informed ATC that the outside temperature was -47 degrees Celsius. In the audio, she requested the controller to clear them to climb to 37,000 feet in search of smoother air.

While the controller approved the request, things took a turn when the pilot declared an emergency. Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras was heard informing the controller that the aircraft was descending sharply, exceeding 20,000 feet per minute. Moments before the aircraft nose-dived into the ground, Nathalia could be heard saying, "We're going to crash into the ground."

In another chilling transmission captured in air traffic control audio, Nathalia was heard shouting, "Holy f**k we're out of time," moments before the aircraft nose-dived into the ground, while pilot Jeff Gregory was heard praying to God for their lives.

Jeff was reportedly a devoted Christian whose faith had been part of his life since childhood. One of his close friends, David Peters told The Sun that he grew up attending Limerick Chapel in Pennsylvania. Social media posts claimed that their parents worked at the church, and the boys attended a small Christian school together.

While the exact circumstances that led to the tragedy are unknown, a later report revealed that the aircraft entered a very strong thunderstorm cell, which might have been one of the factors that contributed to the crash.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of Jeff Gregory and other victims of the Florida jet crash as they cope with the loss.
