The landmark show is returning for its 20th season on September 6, 2026, with Salman Khan back as the host. With the announcement, JioStar and Colors TV also shared the first teaser of the show and the new eye logo, giving fans a sneak peek of what's to come.
With a milestone edition of the reality show, the year's edition promises to be unlike any before, with reports suggesting an "Old vs New" theme featuring a mix of former contestants and fresh celebrity faces battling it out inside the iconic house.
The makers have officially unveiled the teaser of Bigg Boss 20, and the newly released promo sees Salman Khan making a dramatic entrance inspired by his iconic Karan Arjun look. As he teases the highly anticipated season, the superstar hinted at a blockbuster edition this time. While every edition of Bigg Boss does bring fresh dynamics, Season 20 will reportedly feature twists that set it apart from all previous instalments. Yes! For the first time in the franchise's history, six regional editions of Bigg Boss will launch simultaneously under the JioStar banner this September. The star-studded line-up of hosts includes Salman Khan for Hindi, Vijay Sethupathi for Tamil, Nagarjuna for Telugu, Kichcha Sudeepa for Kannada, Mohanlal for Malayalam, and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, who will be making his hosting debut with Bigg Boss Bangla.
Bigg Boss 20 is all set to premiere on September 6, 2026, hosted by Salman Khan. The show will stream on JioHotstar at 9 PM and will telecast on Colors TV at 10:30 PM every night.
The makers are yet to announce the official contestant list, but reports suggest that several television personalities, influencers and reality stars are in talks to enter the house. This season’s final lineup will be an interesting one to say the least, with hints of a mix of the old and the new.
As we wait for the final confirmation, several media reports have already prepared the tentative guest list. The possible lineup of contestants reportedly includes actors Jannat Zubair, Nia Sharma, Arjun Bijlani, Karan Patel, Pearl V Puri, Mahhi Vij, and Geeta Basra. Popular influencers and reality stars such as Faisal Shaikh (Mr. Faisu), Urfi Javed, Anjali Arora, Kushal Tanwar (Gullu), Ruru Thakur, Arbaaz Patel, Santi Sharma, Ridhima Gupta, Showik Chakraborty, and comedian Sunil Pal have also been linked to the milestone season.
It should be noted that these are all speculations and should not be viewed as a confirmed final list of contestants.
