Aaron decided to distance himself from his family nearly a decade ago. And the feud became somewhat of public knowledge. Even though Aaron is someone who doesn't even pour his energy into the meaningless conversation around him, the gossip went on.
Aaron recently credited his mystery wife for his reconciliation with his family. While the past estrangement is not there anymore, Aaron will still not post anything with the family, and he has his reasons, which he recently shared during one of his interviews with USA Today.
While speaking, Aaron Rodgers revealed that there have been a lot of rumours around, and he personally feels that posting about his family recently was part of the full-circle nature of last season for him. According to Rodgers, personal life should stay personal and private. He shared a post with his parents and brother, and he thinks it has put the narratives to rest. Aaron Rodgers said:
"There’s been a narrative out there. There’s not been a lot of information that’s truthful about it. And I think that the personal life should stay personal and private. But I feel like it was part of the full-circle to just one time post something, and never again. So that that narrative can finally be put to rest."
When Aaron Rodgers was asked if he cares about public opinion or narratives out there, he simply answered with a 'no,' while adding that he would definitely ask for advice if any comment comes from someone in his own corner. To mention, earlier, Rodgers credited his wife, Brittani, for encouraging him to reconcile with his family. Rodgers has also not revealed Brittani's identity, except for her name. According to the QB, his wife is someone who intends not to be in the public limelight.
Speaking to NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt, Rodgers mentioned that he had been in several public relationships, but now he is with someone who hasn't signed up to be in the public eye. While crediting his wife for his reconciliation with his family, Aaron said that Brittani was never pushing him to do the same; rather, she supported him and showered him with love. According to Rodgers, there had been several conversations, which kind of allowed him to open up to the possibility of coming together. Crediting his wife, Rodgers said:
"I’m happy to be reunited and that part of my life is a really beautiful addition, and I gotta give my wife a lot of credit for — not that she was pushing me because she never was — but just the way she loves and supports me, having her by my side throughout this process has been really special and I miss those relationships."
There had been several conversations about Aaron Rodgers' estrangement from his family. Sources revealed to PEOPLE that the cracks were caused by sibling rivalry. While it was never officially confirmed, sources also shared that the QB's parents got in the middle during a major 'blowout' among the brothers, which eventually prompted Rodgers to part ways with his family members.
To mention, while Rodgers reconciled with his family, his younger brother, Jordan, was nowhere to be seen. Returning to the alleged issues Rodgers faced, sources said the atmosphere has always been competitive, and the brothers were always trying to one-up each other. Insiders revealed that it had always been like this since they were children, and as they grew up, the stakes went up, as well.
