The couple navigated challenges in their 7-year marriage, and now they are going their separate ways. Amid this, Zac Affleck reacted to the recent news about their personal life.
While Jen and Zac Affleck have decided to end their marriage, they are completely focused on their parenting journey and are preparing for their next baby to join them. Earlier, TMZ revealed that Jen submitted a proposed parenting plan alongside her divorce petition.

After that, PEOPLE reported that Zac was doing okay and that the ex-couple would focus on their co-parenting journey. Now, Zac has something to say about the same. Speaking to PEOPLE, Zac wished Jen all the happiness in the next phase of her life while adding that he is busy figuring out what life holds for him, next. He said:
“Hope she is happy in this next phase of life. Just focusing on my kids and figuring out what’s next for me.”
Before Zac's comment about their divorce, Page Six revealed that sources have shared that he was blindsided by the divorce and learned about it from the news. TMZ earlier revealed that in the next spin-off, Season 1 of the new Orange County-based reality series, Zac Affleck won't be present, which roughly means that people will not be able to hear his side of the story this time.
Jen is all set to be featured in Hulu reality series’ upcoming spinoff, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, which will premiere on November 12, 2026, and the same series might bring revelation from her about the divorce. While the couple had their own share of marital life issues, the reason for Jen opting for divorce hasn't been officially disclosed.
Why did Jen Affleck feel that Zac was not supportive of her dreams?
Production sources recently told the outlet that Zac didn't film even a single episode for the next spin-off before Jen pulled the plug on their marriage. The couple had a lot of issues in their marital life and navigated through them.
It was only a month ago that Jen broke down in tears, recalling losing out on an acting gig; however, to Zac, the outburst was caused by hormonal reasons. Jen felt that Zac was not being serious about her dreams, which were to have production work and acting. When Zac countered, Jen reminded him that he threatened her divorce if she did any on-screen relationship angle in her acting projects.
Zac didn't deny it and justified why he wanted the same. From the beginning of the show, Zac could be seen being unsupportive of Jen's ambition, including her wish to appear in Sports Illustrated, as he was brought up in a 'modest household '.
