Saba Ali Khan, the second child of veteran actress, Sharmila Tagore and the late legendary cricketer, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, belongs to the Pataudi clan. The royal Pataudi family needs no introduction, and Sharmila and Mansoor's children are the ones who are taking this legacy forward. However, not many know that despite being in a Bollywood family, Saba Ali Khan had chosen to be someone of her own and did not follow in her mother and siblings' footsteps.
Saba Ali Khan is very close to her family. She is a doting daughter, a loving sister to Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan, a fun bua to Saif's children, Sara, Ibrahim, Taimur and Jehangir and a hands-on maasi to Soha's daughter, Inaaya. However, on the professional front, she is a successful jewellery designer as well as a social media influencer.
Saba Ali Khan is an avid social media user, and she often shares pictures with her family members. Be it some throwback memories or some recent photos, she keeps her followers hooked on her profile with unseen photos of the Pataudi clan. A few hours back, she took to her Instagram handle and shared a priceless and treasure picture from her childhood days. In the monochrome picture, we can see her with her late father, Mansoor Ali Khan, mother, Sharmila Tagore, siblings, Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan, along with her grandmother, Sajida, the begum of the Pataudi family. Sharing it, she wrote:
"OLD ...IS A TREASURE...Gold varies, this cannot be replaced! PRICELESS. Memory of a lifetime. #familylove #familyfirst #alwaysandforever #mansuralikhan #pataudi #abba #sharmilatagore #ma #grandmother #begum #sajida #sultan #saifalikhanpataudi #bhai #sister #sohaalikhan #me #throwbackthursday #memories #missthosedays."
This is not the first time when Saba has posted something so treasured. A few days back, she had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful monochrome picture of her parents from their engagement ceremony. In the photo, Sharmila had looked gorgeous in a saree, while late Mansoor Ali Khan had looked dapper in a black pantsuit. Sharing the picture, Saba had penned a heartfelt note that could be read as:
"Weddings...Engagement....moments #backintheday were iconic. Everyone looks so classy. Captured in black and white also adds to the aura of mystery and beauty."
Saba Ali Khan, unlike her siblings, had decided not to get married and has been living her singlehood life with utmost joy, satisfaction and happiness. For those who don't know, after Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi's demise in 2011, she was named as the custodian of the royal trust of Bhopal. Now, Saba takes care of her mother's assets in Bhopal and Saudi Arabia worth Rs. 1000 crore as mutawalli of Aukaf-e-Shahi Trust. She even maintains an Instagram account of the same name.
