The property is located at Cuff Parade, which is one of the poshest areas in Mumbai.
Regarding the property's price, Yohan reportedly spent a whopping sum to acquire the luxurious mansion. The staggering price tag is the reason he is dominating headlines on different platforms. However, not everyone is aware of his family background and the fact that he is the cousin of Indian billionaireAdar Poonawalla.

Yes! He belongs to India's famous Poonawalla family and Yohan's father, Zavaray Poonawalla and Adar's father, Cyrus Poonawalla are siblings. While most people are aware of Adar's family background, Yohan has always been under the shadows. Thus, today, we are going to put some light on his side of the family. Yohan Poonawala was born on January 15, 1972, into one of the leading business families in India, the Poonawallas. Yohan's father, Zavaray Poonawalla is the President of the Poonawalla Group and co-founded the Serum Institute of India with his brother, Cyrus Poonawalla, back in 1966. Not only this, Poonawallas also owns stud farms in India called Poonawalla Stud Farms, which are Asia's biggest stud farms. Back in 2022, Zavaray Poonawalla received the Lifetime Achievement Award from The Turf Authorities Of India for his incredible contribution to the sport.
According to Yohan Poonawalla's official website, he completed his schooling from Pune's Bishops School. After this, he took admission to one of Pune's most famous colleges, Wadia College Pune, where Yohan pursued his post-graduation. Once he was done with his Master's, he decided to do an MBA, and for that, Yohan went to the UK. Courtesy of his impressive educational qualifications, he worked in a series of diverse sectors like refinery, petrochemicals, cement, steel, sugar segments, Pharma, and a lot more.
For the uninitiated, Yohan Poonawalla is the Chairman of Poonawalla Engineering Group. Under his leadership, the Engineering Group has succeeded in improving customer satisfaction, improving the quality of its products, and has been making standout deliveries. After years of hard work, the Engineering Group exports its products to 46 countries, which is indeed a remarkable achievement for its Chairman, Yohan Poonawalla.
Apart from heading the Engineering Group, Yohan Poonawalla also serves as a Director at the Poonawalla Stud Farms and Poonawalla Racing and Breeding. Yohan also heads the financial and property wing of the conglomerate, which deals in the corporate sector's investments. The 52-year-old billionaire is also a major shareholder in the Serum Institute Of India Private Limited.

Over the years, Yohan has received a lot of awards for his impact in different industries. For the uninitiated, Yohan is madly in love with expensive cars and has a fleet worth more than Rs. 100 crores.
According to a report in DNA, all his cars have the initials 'YZP' on them which stands for 'Yohan Zavaray Poonawalla'. The report further added that the total cost of all the cars parked inside Yohan's garage is more than Rs. 100 crore, which is more than India's richest person, Mukesh Ambani's car collection.
