The most beautiful part of our country is its rich and varied culture. People from various cultures celebrate different festivals with great pomp and joy. From Navratri to Dhanteras, each of these festivities have some importance for the people of the respective cultures, celebrating it. However, the festival of Karwa Chauth strengthens the bond between a husband and a wife, like no other festival. Our celeb couples are no exceptions, and this festival brings a lot of joy into their lives as well.
Every year, we have seen that multiple celebrities keep fast for their better halves and when the moon rises in the night, the happiness is very much evident on their face as they break the fast. This year marks the first Karwa Chauth of the newlywed Bollywood actress, Yami Gautam. After her wedding with the director, Aditya Dhar, the actress has been exuding all the vibes of a suhaagan. Therefore, there's no doubt that the actress would celebrate her first Karwa Chauth with much grandeur.
On October 24, 2021, Yami Gautam observed her first Karwa Chauth after her wedding with Aditya Dhar. Taking to her IG handle, she shared her pictures wearing a red saree and flaunted her mangalsutra, sindoor and atheru earrings. Along with the picture, she wrote:
''The joy of celebrating my first Karvachauth is unmatched & it became more special as I wear @bulgari Mangalsutra.''
Well, Yami Gautam's mangalsutra was so unique that it caught all our attention. A little research landed us on the price of her expensive mangalsutra. It is from the brand, Bvlgari. On the official website, the statement piece is priced at Rs. 3, 49,000.
On October 22, 2021, Yami Gautam had shared glimpses of her visit to the Golden Temple along with her husband, Aditya Dhar, on her IG handle. In the scintillating pictures, while the director of Uri: the Surgical Strike, Aditya could be seen donning a white kurta-pyjama with a Nehru jacket, it was Yami’s look that had shelled out the vibes of a Punjabi bride. The gorgeous actress had opted for a baby pink coloured suit with golden work over her dupatta. However, her red bindi and chooda had stolen all our attention as it had the charm of a new bride to her look.
The people, who are aware of Yami Gautam's style statement, know that she believes in the fact that there is nothing wrong with our age-old traditions of wearing laal suhaag ki choori or other traditional ornaments that represent one's culture. During the promotions of her film, Bhoot Police, Yami had shared a series of pictures on her IG handle. In the photos, she had exuded her modern desi bride swag and had set the internet on fire. She was seen wearing a floral dress and had paired her outfit with red bangles, traditional aatheru, three layers of neckpieces and a pearl hair accessory. Not just that, her sparkling engagement ring on her finger, had caught everyone's attention.
For the unversed, it was on June 4, 2021, when Yami Gautam had surprised her fans by sharing her ‘just married’ picture with her director-husband, Aditya Dhar. Taking to her IG handle, she had captioned the picture as:
“In your light, I learn to love - Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes. Love, Yami and Aditya."
