Bollywood actress, Yami Gautam had tied the knot with the director of Uri: The Surgical Strike, Aditya Dhar. The duo, who had started gelled well during the movie's premiere, had instantly felt the connection and had made it to the shaadi ka mandap on June 4, 2021. Both Yami and Aditya had surprised their fans with the news of their wedding. 

Taking to their IG handles, Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar had shared a picture from the wedding and sought the blessings of their fans. Alongside the picture, they had written, "In your light, I learn to love - Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes. Love, Yami and Aditya."

A few minutes ago, Yami Gautam took to her IG handle to show her gratitude towards the artisans and weavers for gifting every girl with handcrafted fabrics. She also thanked them for passing down the art from generation to generation. The Vicky Donor actress looked surreal in the picture as she flaunted her kaleeras and chooda. Besides the golden kaleeras, what had caught our attention was the unique sea shell and coconut kaleera that was left hanging in between her chooda. The picture also featured Yami flaunting her wedding ring.

Sharing the picture, Yami wrote, "Handcrafted fabrics hold special elegance, relevance and beauty with them, where each thread is woven with nuanced care and accuracy. An artform that is passed down from generation to generation! Our country, India is culturally diverse so let's honour #NationalHandloomDay by adding more traditions to our textile designs."

Yami Gautam has often treated her fans to glimpses from her close-knit wedding in Himachal Pradesh. On June 27, 2021, she had taken to her IG handle to pen a thank you note for her sister, Surilie Gautam, as she had helped her in the last minute shopping. She wrote, "My ‘one man army’ From rushing to shop whatever we could (and I mean SHAADI shopping) in a span of an hour (since the city was in strict lockdown), to styling my hair & helping me create all these beautiful traditional looks that I always wanted and most importantly keeping me so entertained with your endless jokes & banter with Ojas."

Going further in her heartmelting note, Yami also recounted her blessings of having a strong middle-class family with values and traditions. She added in the caption, "From our endless list making, chai drinking sessions, to your yummy cooking (including homemade milk cakes) and so many other things. Having a family where there is only unconditional love, strong middle-class values and traditions makes me feel very lucky & I will always choose these virtues over anything in the world.
