Jelly filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18, 2026, citing irreconcilable differences with a separation date of May 9, 2026. However, now the question is: Did Chad Kroeger really cause the couple to split?

Fans have been trying to connect the dots between Chad Kroeger and the shocking split of Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo ever since they noticed a pattern in the latter's social media activity. What further intensified the speculation was an old Nickelback video, which led many to wonder if the rock frontman had something to do with the couple's divorce. For the unversed, the first video that left everyone curious was from May 27, 2026 (ET), in which Bunnie could be seen with the Nickelback frontman.

The clip featured the song Figured You Out and Bunnie was also heard calling him "Daddy Chaddy". While fans initially thought it was a joke, the timing has now prompted them to reconsider the post. The post could be read as:

"The moment I finally got to be back in his arms. Swoon."

Things got further intriguing hours after the news of Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo's divorce went public. The latter posted another video of herself lip-syncing to Nickelback's hit song, How You Remind Me. For the unversed, the song is about a toxic relationship and features Chad Kroeger singing about an argument with his girlfriend. This was enough for fans to start a full-blown theory that Chad Kroeger was somehow involved in the breakup.

Screenshots of the comment went viral online, making the situation even more suspicious. However, neither of the involved parties has confirmed these rumours. Sources close to the couple told TMZ that the split was a mutual decision and a private family matter, yet fans keep talking because the timing of the videos is just too hard to ignore.
