Who is Paije Speights?

James Harden's girlfriend, Paije Speights, is a fashion designer, business owner, and influencer. She hails from Inkster, Michigan, a Detroit suburb. But, she is not just known for being James Harden's girlfriend. Instead, she has already made a name for herself in the fashion industry through her creative work and entrepreneurial ventures. Paije initially rose to fame after she appeared on HBO Max's fashion competition series, The Hype, in 2021. In turn, she ended among the top contestants. 

Soon after, Paije started her fashion label, Front Paije. In fact, she also opened a physical store in Michigan. Over time, Paije's designs and personal style have helped her build a strong online following. Although James and Paije began dating several years ago, they have kept most details of their relationship private. The couple first came under the spotlight in June 2024 when they attended former NBA star, Rajon Rondo's wedding in Italy together. 

A video from the wedding celebrations quickly went viral after Paije caught the bridal bouquet. Fans quickly spotted James Harden standing nearby. Eventually, the clip gave fans one of the first glimpses of the couple together. However, their bond mainly came into the forefront after the release of Netflix's sports docuseries, Starting 5. It revealed that the couple was expecting a child together, giving viewers a rare glimpse into their personal lives. Although they now share a son, they have decided to keep him mostly away from public life. 

James Harden's arrest 

James Harden is once again in the news. But this time it is not due to his on-court performance. Instead, the NBA star was arrested on the morning of June 13, 2026, in Houston, Texas. According to reports, he has been charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon, a misdemeanor offense. In turn, police found a handgun inside James' vehicle. According to reports, the firearm was in plain sight and not in any holster.

But, eventually, the 35-year-old was released on bond. He is now scheduled to appear in court on June 22, 2026. As a part of his bond conditions, James cannot possess firearms, ammunition, or other weapons. At the same time, he must avoid alcohol or non-prescribed drugs. In the same regard, he will have to submit to random urinalysis testing. Meanwhile, neither James nor his representatives have publicly commented on the matter until the time of reporting.

James Harden is regarded as one of the greatest offensive players in NBA history. He is also known as "The Beard" owing to his signature facial hair. James joined the league in 2009 after being picked third overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Over time, he has played for multiple teams, such as the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, LA Clippers, and Cleveland Cavaliers. One of his most successful seasons came with the Houston Rockets, where he won the NBA MVP award in 2018. In turn, he became one of the most dominant scorers.
