Popular Canadian-American actor, Joshua Jackson is currently making immense buzz online. He is a versatile actor, widely recognised for his challenging television roles, such as 'Pacey Witter' in Dawson's Creek and 'Peter Bishop' in Fringe. His latest project, Happy Hours generated significant noise as it marked his reunion with his former Dawson's Creek co-star and real-life ex-girlfriend, Katie Holmes. The duo even held hands at the promotional event in June 2026. Now, after two months, he was caught in a similar moment with another woman, Olivia Burgess.

Almost two years after breakup with Lupita Nyong'o, Joshua Jackson might have found love again. According to TMZ, the 47-year-old actor was spotted holding hands with Olivia Burgess during a cosy stroll in New York City. The actor was photographed smiling widely with the model on June 7, 2026. Their natural chemistry sparked dating rumours. Witnesses noted that they looked very happy and affectionate in public. Neither of their representatives has officially confirmed or denied a romantic relationship yet. However, an interest has been sparked in her, particularly regarding her career.

Who is Olivia Burgess?

Oliver Byrgess is a Wilhelmina model who was born in Paris, France, but was not brought up there. She reportedly moved to Washington, DC, at age four with her mom and sister. As for her academics, she studied at the Academy of Healing Nutrition in New York. Olivia has her profile in major agencies, including Wilhelmina Models in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, as well as Select Model Management in Paris, indicating that they represent her globally. According to her profile pages, she walked the runway for luxury fashion houses like Jean Paul Gaultier (for their Spring 2017 collection).

Olivia Burgess initially wanted to be a dancer, an accident led her to modelling

Olivia moved from Washington, D.C. to New York to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in dance from Fordham University and the Ailey School, graduating in 2015. She wanted to pursue dance professionally and was working towards her dream. Olivia is a lively person who enjoys an active life, finding joy in horse riding and swimming. However, among them, dance was the activity she enjoyed most and wanted to build as a career. Her dreams were shattered when a knee injury sidelined her from the art form for a year.

After getting a knee surgery, Olivia realised that she would not be able to dance full-time. It was then that she decided to check out a modelling agency, almost on a whim. Luckily, the agency saw potential in her and hence, started her modelling venture. Olivia was a natural at modelling, and she soon began to gain recognition in the field. She went on to be featured in ads for Bloomingdale's and THE GAP. Her blonde, curly hair is her signature in her photo shoots.

Olivia Burgess opened up about the major moment in her life during an interview with Gainsayer. She shared that when they were auditioning for the dance troupe, all they were told was that they would be performing live with a Grammy Award-winning artist. They had no idea who the artist was. Olivia found out that she would be sharing the stage with the iconic Beyoncé only during the first rehearsal, and she was thrilled. She stated:

"It wasn't until the first rehearsal that I found out that I would be performing alongside Beyoncé at the VMAs. My mind was totally blown."

Olivia Burgess is interested in acting

In the same interview, Olivia was asked about her experience of acting in music videos for Jase Harley, Between the Lines, featuring Chris Lee, and for Zachary Murdock, I've Looked Everywhere. She was grateful for the opportunities and said that she "learned a lot from both." She then revealed that she had been interested in acting since her school days. She stated that she never wanted to build a career in acting but would love to feature in a project or two. Olivia recalled having auditioned for every spring musical in high school, but her dance schedule never allowed her to participate.

Olivia even kept her passion for acting alive when she joined college. After graduation, she took a couple of semesters of acting classes at the Barrow Group in New York and was prepared for any opportunity that comes her way. As per her, the little acting she got to do in commercials and music videos was a very "fulfilling" experience, and she was glad to showcase another side of her besides modelling. Her exact words were:

"I've always had an interest in acting even though it was never my focus... It's been very fulfilling to finally get the opportunity to flex my acting muscles in the music videos and commercials I've done. I look forward to doing more."
