According to reports, Gabriel Jesus' girlfriend, Raiane Lima, is a well-known social media influencer. She boasts over 379k followers on Instagram. As of now, she has 92 posts on her page. She usually shares glimpses of her life with Gabriel, including going to football matches to support him and spending important holidays alongside him, like Christmas.
It is worth noting that before getting together with Gabriel, Raiane was linked to married Pernambuco state MP and tourism minister Rodrigo Novaes. At that time, the influencer quickly shut down the rumours of a fling while confirming that she was dating the Arsenal star. Raiane also made it clear that she was not seeing anybody when she began dating Gabriel. She stated:
“I just want to clear up a few things that gossip sites have been saying. First of all, I'm 20 and have been over-age for some time now. Second, I was not dating anyone when I got to know Gabriel. Today we are in a relationship, yes, but that's something that only concerns us. We are single, free, and anything else said other than that is gossip and cruelty.”
As her relationship with Gabriel progressed, the footballer surprised fans in February 2022 by revealing that they were having a baby girl together. Gabriel posted an adorable snap on his social media while gently kissing his girlfriend’s forehead. The big reveal came in the caption, where he wrote, “Happy birthday, my love. May God bless and protect our baby girl (yes, it's a girl).”
Soon, Raiane responded to the post, revealing that the football star had not asked her before announcing their baby’s gender. However, she was not mad at him as she wrote, “Thanks for revealing it's a girl without asking me beforehand,” followed by a couple of laughing emojis. Raiane later shared with fans that they had decided to call their daughter Helena in a message to mark her boyfriend’s 25th birthday.
In December 2024, Gabriel Jesus announced that his girlfriend, Raiane Lima, was expecting another baby. Their second child, a son named Daniel, was born in June 2025.
Gabriel Jesus and Raiane Lima’s brief split
For those unaware, eight months after giving birth to her first child, Raiane and Gabriel had a brief split. She took to her Instagram story to confirm the news. She wrote:
“Before gossip spreads, I myself make a point of letting you know that Gabriel and I are no longer a couple. And whoever wants to judge can judge. Anyone who wants to say some bad things, can speak. Since some like disgrace, I do it myself question of announcing the end of something that almost consumed me. Who wants to celebrate too, can celebrate (especially family members).”
Raiane said that after this post, she will never talk about their breakup or about their daughter. The influencer clarified that their breakup was not caused by betrayal and rather it was “just pressure from everyone and everything.” However, before long, the duo got together once again and welcomed their second child.
