Less than a year after Charlie Kirk's death, his friend, Blake Wynn, unexpectedly became the center of attention on social media. It happened after a social media user shared a video falsely linking him to Charlie's widow and Erika Kirk. The rumors went viral in no time. Both Erika and Blake had to step up to deny any romantic involvement. But while the fake news kept circulating on social media, many internet users asked a simple question: Who exactly was Blake Wynn? At the same time, why is his name suddenly surfacing in the fabricated speculation around Charlie Kirk's family? 

Who Is Blake Wynn? 

Blake Wynn is an entrepreneur, social media personality, and the founder of the Celebrity Poker Tour (CPT). It is a popular Poker competition. It features influencers, athletes, and online personalities. He is also known to be the nephew of casino businessman, Steve Wynn. Over time, Blake has earned fame in the entertainment and business worlds through his high-profile connections. According to reports, Blake was a close friend of Charlie Kirk before his death in September 2025. 

In turn, after his death, he has been a part of the support network around Erika Kirk and her two young children. Meanwhile, friends and supporters have often described him as one of the many people who have continued to stand by the family during a difficult phase. He has now risen to more attention after an X account made serious claims about having seen Erika Kirk with Blake Wynn. It claimed that a source said she was seen behaving romantically with him at an exclusive venue in Beverly Hills.

Why was Erika Kirk linked to Blake Wynn?

The viral post also alleged that the couple was seen together in an intimate setting. The scene suggested that they were involved in a secret relationship. Needless to say, given the spotlight on Erika after Charlie's death, the claims went viral on social media in no time. However, both Erika and Blake stepped up to debunk it. Erika publicly called the claims false. She mentioned that she was in Arizona on that said date, celebrating her son's second birthday. In her words:

"Every single word here is a lie. Charlie's love will last me a lifetime. On May 14, I was home in Arizona, celebrating my son's 2nd Birthday. Blake (who is about to be engaged to his longtime gf) was a dear friend of my husband's, and I am grateful for his continued support, just like hundreds of others."

On the other hand, Blake also directly addressed the rumors, stating that he was not dating Erika Kirk. Also, he never went to the place mentioned in the post. Meanwhile, she revealed that Blake was a longtime friend of her late husband. In fact, he is reportedly preparing to get engaged to his longtime girlfriend.

One of her family friends, Tracey Martin, publicly stated that she is firmly supporting Erika. She was present with Erika when she was celebrating her son's birthday. Despite the denials, the original user of the viral post continued to ask for more details and pictures of the event. At the same time, he refused to believe Erika or any claims in her support.

The attention around Erika is not new. She has been the center of attention and false news ever since Charlie Kirk died after being shot in public. But before the tragedy, they were a loving couple admired by their fans and the media. Eventually, after dating for a couple of years, he proposed to her in December 2020. Later, Charlie and Erika got married in Scottsdale, Arizona, in May 2021. They also welcomed two kids. Their relationship was admired by supporters of Turning Point USA and the conservative movement. Meanwhile, after Charlie's untimely death, Erika has shifted her focus toto advancing his vision as the CEO of Turning Point USA and to caring for her young kids.
