She died on April 30, 2026, at the age of 38. Her husband, Josh Taylor confirmed her demise in a social media post, where he requested prayers for their family and four daughters. Aly and Taylor, got popular with their appearance on the TLC show, Rattled, where they candidly discussed their personal deets like her Stage III triple-negative breast cancer and her infertility. After her demise, her husband, Josh and his comments regarding her pregnancy and health issues have come under the spotlight.

Who is Josh Taylor, Aly Taylor's husband?

Josh Taylor is the husband of the late social media influencer and author, Aly Taylor. He is reportedly an entrepreneur and public speaker who rose to prominence alongside his better half by documenting their miraculous family journey through her decade-long battle with breast cancer, infertility, and adoption and childbirth. On April 30, 2026, Josh confirmed through their social media page, Aly's Fight that she had succumbed to the fatal disease after a long period of brave fight against it. Josh is known to be her constant support and biggest strength amid her ailment and her struggles with pregnancy.

Aly Taylor became Josh Taylor's first priority since her cancer diagnosis

Josh reportedly stayed by Aly's side till she took her last breathe. According to a UT MD Anderson article, Josh Taylor detailed his experience as a caregiver for his wife, during her treatment for stage III triple-negative breast cancer, emphasising that his primary focus was loving her. He revealed that the first two things that crossed his mind in the face of a family health crisis were money and time. Josh stated that his foremost priority was Aly and that he wanted to let her know how much she meant to him. He stated:

"My primary job would be to love Aly and let her know that she was my No. 1 priority. One of the ways I did that was by leaning heavily on my support system, which included Aly’s doctors. Sometimes, while Aly was receiving treatment at the hospital, she'd think I'd gone to the cafeteria or the bathroom, but really, I'd snuck up to the fifth floor to ask a doctor something else."

Josh Taylor and Aly Taylor went from infertility struggles to having three kids in just 18 months

In the same UT MD Anderson report, Josh Taylor was mentioned, recounting how his family grew from zero to three children in just 18 months. The unexpected event occurred after his wife, Aly, 's breast cancer diagnosis. The childbirth involved both a surprise pregnancy and adoption. The couple was told that Aly was infertile and, therefore, they considered adoption. That is how, their first child, a daughter, Genevieve arrived in their house in 2014. Shortly after, Josh received a pleasant surprise when his wife revealed that she had finally got pregnant.

Aly's way of breaking the pregnancy news was unique and reflected their spiritual roots. She made her husband sit down and read out a verse of the Bible to him, which compared her with a wife a "fruitful vine" and her children to "olive shoots around your table." Josh was thrilled upon understanding that she was indicated her pregnancy via the verse. As he tried to soak in the happy news, his joy doubled when Genevieve's birth mother reached out to them, asking if they would consider another adoption. Interestingly, both women were pregnant at the same time and gave birth in a gap of 11 days. He stated:

"Just one month later, Genevieve's birth mother called to say she was pregnant again, too, and asked if we'd consider another adoption. We said we would, and Lydia was born 11 days after Vera. Suddenly, we'd gone from a couple with no children to a couple with three — all under the age of 2. We couldn't have been happier."

Aly and Josh's biological child, Vera was born on August 14, 2015, and their adoptive child, Lydia Joyce was born on August 25, 2016. The family often refers to Vera as a miracle baby due to Aly being able to carry her despite struggles with breast cancer, a previous history of ovarian cancer, and infertility challenges. After becoming parents to three girl children, the couple was blessed with a fourth. Aly said it was unbelievable for them to "hit the jackpot" again with the birth of another daughter. Their "miracle Estelle" was born on September 21, 2021. Sharing his love for his family, Josh mentioned:

"Seeing my wife healed and whole now — both as a mom and as my wife— gives me a dose of perspective every day. Because being with her and our girls today is enough. Tomorrow will bring a plan to deal with the rest."
