Aly Taylor, who became famous for sharing her life and cancer battle with her husband, Josh Taylor, has died at the age of 38. Josh confirmed the news through his social media handle. In turn, he asked their followers to keep their families in prayer. They had built a loyal following on their social media by sharing family-focused content. At the same time, they used to document Aly's cancer battle on their page, Aly's Fight-A Family of Miracles. While Josh shared no official cause behind Aly's death, let's know more about her health.
Josh Taylor confirmed Aly Taylor's death. But his post did not mention a specific cause of death. However, Aly was fighting triple-negative breast cancer for several years. So, several social media users believe that some complications related to the same might have caused her death. According to the old interviews and updates by the family, Aly was first diagnosed with the illness in 2011. She was just 24 years old and had completed her master's degree. At that time, disease had already spread to nearby lymph nodes, making it an aggressive case.

For those unaware, Triple-negative breast cancer is one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer. It grows faster and has limited treatment options compared to other kinds of cancer. Aly often spoke about how the diagnosis after six years into her marriage was sudden and life-changing. Especially, the news affected them at a point where they had started trying to build a family. In turn, she used social media and her public life to support others facing similar situations. Recalling her diagnosis, Aly shared:
"I had just finished my master's degree, and we thought it would be a good time to start and try to have a baby. I always wanted to be a really young mom. A lot of people ask me, 'How did you find out you had breast cancer? You were 24. Did you do self-exams? Did you go to the doctor?' And the answer is, 'No. I didn't.'"

According to some interviews by Parade and writings for MD Anderson Cancer Center, Aly initially mistook her symptoms for pregnancy. But, eventual testing revealed her diagnosis. In turn, doctors advised her to begin chemotherapy immediately. The influencer went through 16 rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, 30 rounds of radiation, and multiple reconstructive surgeries.

At the same time, doctors warned the couple that the treatment could affect their ability to have kids. After nearly 11 years in 2023, Aly shared that her cancer had returned after a routine surgery. Since then, she used to travel for advanced treatment, biopsies, and medication.

Although Chemotherapy made it difficult for the couple to get pregnant, they welcomed a biological daughter in 2015 and adopted others to build their miraculous family.

The couple has four daughters, Genevieve, Vera, Lydia, and Estelle. They also shared their journey on TLC's Rattled. At the same time, Aly was also a family therapist, author, and adoption consultant. She even penned a book, How Cancer Made Me a Mommy.
