Who Is A.J. Brown's Wife, Kelsey Riley? Healthcare Worker, Attended School With Megan Thee Stallion

A.J. Brown is a well-known American professional football player. He currently plays as a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League (NFL). He had played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels before the Tennessee Titans selected him during the 2019 NFL draft. 

As of now, however, A.J. Brown is hogging the spotlight after reports that he will be traded on June 1, 2026. Repotedly, several teams are looking to take him in if the Eagles decide to let him go. So while we wait to see the fate of A.J. Brown, let us introduce you to his wife, Kelsey Riley. 

Kelsey Riley played multiple sports in high school 

A.J. Brown's wife, Kelsey Riley, was born in August 1997 and grew up in Bella Chasse, Louisiana. Many might not be aware, but similar to her husband, she is also an athlete. If reports are believed to be true, Kelsey played a number of sports in high school but particularly excelled in softball while studying at Texas Southern University. She was reportedly named First Team All-Conference in 2017 and graduated two years later in May 2019. Shortly before her graduation, Kelsey took to her Instagram to write:

“What lies behind me, and what lies before me are small matters compared to what lies within me. Softball has provided me with the biggest opportunity I could’ve ever imagined.... free education."

Kelsey Riley had attended school with rapper, Megan Thee Stallion 

Kelsey Riley went to Texas Southern University with one of the biggest female rappers we have seen these days, Megan Thee Stallion. The rapper had attended the school as a health administration major. In February 2019, Kelsey wished Meghan on her birthday on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Happy birthday to the real hotgirl! Hope your day is filled with blessings. @theestallion,” alongside a picture of the two in a classroom. 

Kelsey Riley works in healthcare 

Although Kejsey had a knack for sports, she chose to work in the medical field. As per her LinkedIn profile, she is a patient access representative at St. Luke's Medical Centre in Houston, Texas.  Prior to this, Kelsey had worked at a Houston hotel, which is a nursing home in her hometown. She had also worked as a freelance patient care coordinator. It was in April 2021 when Kelsey was accepted into nursing school. 

Kelsey Riley and AJ Brown went public with their relationship via Facebook 

It is not widely known when and where A.J. Brown and Kelsey Riley met for the first time. However, according to reports, the couple went public with their relationship in February 2022 after Kelsey posted a series of photos on Facebook from her and the NFL player's snowy winter getaway. Coming to A.J., while he has occasionally talked about how much he loves his wife, he usually prefers to keep his personal life private. 

Kelsey Riley and A.J. Brown share a son together 

On September 29, 2022, Kelsey Riley welcomed a son with A.J. Brown. They lovingly named him Arthur Juan Brown Jr. Prior to his birth, A.J. Brown and Kelsey enjoyed a baby shower, which was thrown by the latter's family in July 2022. A month after this, Kelsey took to her Instagram handle to post a series of pictures, with one snap of a Philadelphia Eagles hat and another of a slide reading “finna have a baby.” 

Kelsey Riley supports A.J. Brown both on and off the field 

Fans of the NFL player might often find Kelsey Riley at A.J. Brown's games. In fact, Kelsey often shares photos from his training camps and regular-season games. Compared to his wife, however, A.J is less of a poster but still keeps family as his top priority. In 2022, during a conversation with the reporters, he said:

“When I go home, I'm a father. When I'm in the building, I'm working. Once the kids go to bed, I do what I need to do to get ready for the game.” 

Kelsey Riley and A.J. Brown got engaged three months after the latter's Super Bowl victory 

Just three months after securing the Super Bowl ring in 2025, A.J. Brown proposed to Kelsey Riley with a beautiful, eye-catching pear-shaped diamond ring. A.J. got down on one knee at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia while John Legend performed his hit song, You and I in the background. The couple announced the happy news on Instagram in May 2025, sharing a clip from the romantic proposal. In the comments, John wrote, “Congratulations to you both. Thank you for including me.” 

Kelsey Riley and A.J. Brown got married in a luxury California ceremony 

Kelsey Riley and A.J. Brown officially tied the knot on May 16, 2026. According to reports, their wedding was held at Montage Laguna Beach. As per the photos from the ceremony, their wedding was a lavish affair with plenty of elegant touches like violinists performing outside the reception area. The couple's son was also part of the wedding.
