Aamir Khan’s third wife, Gauri originally hails from Bengaluru and comes from a diverse background, with a Tamilian mother and an Irish father with Punjabi roots. Her grandfather, Philip Spratt, was a British man and was an important part of India’s freedom movement. Gauri studied at Blue Mountain School and later pursued a fashion course in Styling and Photography at the University of the Arts London.
Apart from co-owning a family salon, Gauri is a longtime partner with BBlunt salons along with Adhuna Bhabani. She has been a partner and director with B Blunt since 2007. She is currently associated with Aamir Khan Films, the actor's own production house. Aamir and Gauri reportedly share a 14-year age gap, as she is 47 and Aamir is 61. Apart from this, Gauri has a seven-year-old son from her previous marriage. Talking about her wealth, Gauri’s estimated net worth is between Rs 8 crore and Rs 12 crore.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt have known each other for 25 years
It was on Aamir Khan’s 60th birthday in 2025 when he formally introduced Gauri to the world. During an intimate gathering with the media in Mumbai, the actor confirmed his relationship with Gauri. When he was asked how he fell in love with Gauri, Aamir revealed that the two had crossed paths 25 years ago but had lost touch. It was years later that the two reconnected. Stating what made him fall in love with her, Aamir said:
“I was looking for someone I can be calm with, who gives me peace. And there she was.”
Gauri is not into the Bollywood madness and has not seen much of Aamir’s work. In the same media interaction, Aamir shared that Gauri had different exposure to cinema and doesn’t see him as a superstar but as a partner. In his words:
“She grew up in Bangalore, and her exposure was to different kinds of films and arts. So she doesn’t watch Hindi films. She has probably not seen much of my work, too. She doesn’t see me as a superstar but as a partner.”
Prior to his third marriage to Gauri, Aamir married twice: first in 1986 to Reena Dutta, when he was just 21. The former couple has two children, Junaid and Ira, but unfortunately after 16 years of their marriage, the duo called it quits in 2002. Aamir then married Kiran Rao in 2005 and welcomed their son, Azad, through surrogacy in 2011. The actor’s second marriage could not last long, and the two got divorced in 2021. But despite his divorce from Reena and Kiran, Aamir shares a cordial bond with them.
