After months of speculation, Aamir held a press conference recently, where he talked about his wedding plans. He revealed that he is indeed getting married to Gauri Spratt. The actor stated that they will have a registered marriage under the Special Marriage Act. After which, a small celebration will be held at his home.
Aamir's son, Junaid, was with him during the press conference. The actor also shared that the celebrations would be attended by only close family and friends. He said:
"Haan meri shaadi ho rahi hai 5 July ko. Ghar pe hi kar rahe hai. Bahut hi choti shadi hai. Bahut hi khaas din hai 5 tarikh hamare liye. Dono families hai aur kuch khaas dost hai. Ghar pe hi kar rahe hai. Aap sabhi ki dua chahiye bas ki hum khush rahe aur achha safar rahe. Bahut hi chota sa affair hai. Bahut hi gharelu hai."
As per reports, 150 people are going to be part of the ceremony, which will be held at Aamir's Bandra home, and his children and his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, will also be part of it. Now, it is worth witnessing if his ex-wives would also be part of his big day.

When Aamir Khan appeared on Raj Shamani's podcast and bared his heart about his life and career. At one point, Raj questioned Aamir about what changed his decision not to marry again. In response, Aamir instantly replied, 'Gauri,' proving she is the biggest green flag. Further, the superstar revealed that three years back, he thought that he would not find anyone at this age.
However, since Aamir had started taking therapy, which made him realise that he should first love and prioritise himself. Only then would he be able to take care of or love someone fully. Aamir stated that he thought his relationship with the kids and his mother was enough for him. He revealed that he had an extremely strong bond with his ex-wives, Reena and Kiran, and he still shares it. But when Gauri came into his life, she changed him.
