The Ambanis are one of the most successful business families in India. However, their power and fame doubled when they joined as a family with another of the biggest pharmaceutical group in India, the Piramals, when Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, Isha, found her soulmate in Ajay Piramal’s son, Anand. Isha and Anand had known each other as family friends for a long time before they kicked off as each other’s best partners. The duo got married in a lavish ceremony on December 12, 2018. Fast forward to today, Anand Piramal and Isha Ambani are proud parents to their twins, Krishna and Aadiya, whom they welcomed in 2022.

Even before Isha and Anand’s marriage, the Ambanis and Piramals had known each other quite well and had been family friends. However, among them all, Mukesh Ambani shares a very special relationship with his damaad, Anand Piramal, as he was the first person ever to encourage the latter into starting his business. In a report by the Economic Times, Anand Piramal once mentioned how Mukesh had cleared his dilemma between consulting and banking and had asked him to proceed with entrepreneurship. In his words:
“I asked him, whether I should get into consulting or banking? He told me, being a consultant is like watching cricket or commentating about cricket, while being an entrepreneur is like playing cricket. You can’t learn how to play cricket by commentating. If you want to do something, be an entrepreneur in the long term and start now. I told him, you should have told me that when I was 20, not at 25.”
Coming to the love birds' personal life, both Isha and Anand share a common love for throwing some of the most lavish and fun parties ever. Proof of the same could be found when the couple arranged a stunning New York-themed pre-wedding bash for their cousin, Aditya Shah at their residence, Karuna Sindhu on December 17, 2022. From lavish floral decorations, unique décor pieces and a delectable food menu, Isha and Anand left no stone unturned to mark the day.

However, apart from the magnificent arrangements, what caught our eyes was the glam avatar donned by the hostess, Isha Ambani. The business heiress opted for a shimmery gold-hued gown which featured contrasting brown floral prints all over it. Smokey eye look, open tresses and stunning hoop earrings completed her look.

Every girl looks for the reflection of her father in her husband. And it was precisely the same for Isha Ambani, who had found her true love in her childhood best friend and beau, Anand Piramal. In an interview with Vogue right after her wedding, Isha pointed out some similarities of traits she noticed between her husband and her father. She mentioned that Mukesh and Anand are equally foodies and, most importantly, share a deep love and commitment towards their families.
