And indeed, she is a most favourite one among her friends, who are like a second family to her.
In 2018, Alia Bhatt attended the grand destination wedding of her childhood bestie, Kripa Mehta, in Jodhpur. Since the couple had chosen such a royal location, thus every bit of their wedding arrangements had been nothing less than that of the royals. Interestingly, like every bridesmaid, Alia took a mammoth part in most festivities to ensure many happy memories for her best friend. However, in an unseen snapshot from the wedding festivities, we could spot Alia getting quite emotional at the moment of vidaai of her bestie, which proved her love for Kripa.

This has not been the first time that Alia has turned into a full-fledged bridesmaid for the wedding festivity of her friends. For instance, in March 2021, Alia attended the lavish wedding festivity of her another bestie, Rhea Khurana, who tied the knot at a destination wedding in Jaipur. Like always, Alia became the perfect bridesmaid as she took to the dance floor with her gang of friends and danced her heart out on popular Bollywood songs for Rhea’s sangeet.

Alia Bhatt loves travelling and exploring new places on getaways with her girlfriends. One such incident was witnessed in 2021 when Alia, her bestie, Akansha Ranjan and her sister, Anushka Ranjan, stepped out on the sea-beaches of Maldives to spend some girls-only time. The three friends had a chilled day on the beach as they posed for adorable photographs together.

One common thing between girl best friends is that they become more than happy when they hear that their bestie has turned a leaf in their life and now has been promoted to a mother. Something similar happened with Alia Bhatt’s bestie, Akansha Ranjan when she learnt that the former gave birth to her daughter, Raha. While Akansha became a maasi for the little one, she was so overcome with emotions that she could not control her happiness. Speaking about the same in an interview, Akansha once mentioned:
“It is a new feeling. Everything is so new because I don’t know what to feel, as these are such new feelings. There is love for somebody you don’t know. There’s so much overwhelming love for someone whom you have never seen before they were born”.
