Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is more than just a pretty face. The blue-eyed lady has kept her head high and her feet on the grounds since the beginning of her journey in the world of glam and glitz. Unfortunately, she has often been subjected to public opinion because of her wrong choices in love and her exes had left no stone unturned to demean her in the eyes of media. But her ex-boyfriend and actor, Vivek Oberoi hasn't gotten over with the past. A couple of months ago, he had made headlines for his tweet on Aishwarya's personal life which had featured him, Salman Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan. However, he had deleted it after receiving a huge criticism and apologised for it. Later, we saw him trying hard to mend things with the Bachchans as he hugged Aishwarya's husband, Abhishek at an event, letting bygones be bygones.
Now, he took another step closer to mending his relationship with the Bachchans as he posted a birthday wish for Amitabh Bachchan. On October 11, 2019, Vivek took to his Instagram handle and posted a picture with him. He wrote, "Here’s a photo of the Shahenshah of bollywood @amitabhbachchan inspiring an aspiring actor. Been 15 years to this, and yet he continues to be as inspiring as ever. Wish you a very happy birthday sir! May you continue to inspire us all & rule our hearts!"
For those who don't know, Vivek had reportedly dated Aishwarya in the early 2000s, but they had soon parted ways on a bitter note. And after six years, he had finally opened up about his breakup on Farah Khan's show, Tere Mere Beech Mein, wherein, he had confessed how he held the infamous press conference against Salman Khan to please Aishwarya. On this Farah had asked him, "Lekin jinke liye aapne yeh sab kiya unhone kabhi bhi aapo thank you bola? Appreciate hua?" To which Vivek had answered, "Nahi huya! Ulta yeh hua ki 'tum bahut immature ho'. Badme ye hogaya tha ki 'tumhe ye nahi karna chahiye tha'." However, after his episode had gotten aired, a friend of Aishwarya got into touch with The Times of India, and had opened up about Aishwarya's perspective, and had stated, "Vivek said in a talk show on Sunday that he had held the infamous press conference against Salman to please Aishwarya. Let me tell you, Aishwarya wasn't even aware that he was going to hold the press conference. When she got to know about it, she was horrified. Vivek is an adult and he should take responsibility for his actions. Why blame Aishwarya if his career didn't take off."
