Similar is the case with workouts too. Gone are those days when workouts was about long boring hours alone in the gym but if we go by the latest trend, the gym now gets better with an exercise partner. Looks like Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and her hubby, Vivek Dahiya abide by this workout trend! Ever since Divyanka Tripathi had added the surname ‘Dahiya’ to her name post her wedding with Vivek Dahiya, the lovebirds have been swooning us over their ‘match made in heaven’ chemistry, and their love has deepened with each passing day (nazar na lage). We have seen Divyanka and Vivek’s love and dedication for fitness and they have come a long way in their journey. As if their oh-so-romantic travel pictures weren't enough #CoupleGoals, Divyanka and Vivek have now added their partner workout routine to the list as well.
Seems like Vivek Dahiya has found a perfect workout partner in his wife, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, and they are an exemplar of ‘Couples Who Sweat Together, Stay Together’. But there’s a funny twist to DiVek’s partner workout! Sharing a workout video with Divyanka wherein she is comfortably perched on his shoulder as he tries doing sit-ups, Vivek wrote, “When your girlfriend/wife have more uses than you know! #UniqueTrainingMethods #TryEmOut.”
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had talked about her fitness journey and revealed what she eats in one day that led her to have this fabulous body and shed so many pounds. Sharing her morning ritual, Divyanka begins her day with water and tender coconut, and she eats her breakfast around 10-11 am. She had said, “But I start my day with a glass of green juice since they are not high on sugar.” And for her breakfast, fruits are her go-to and if not fruits, then she opts for healthy pancakes without oil.
Coming back to her weight loss secrets, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had shared that she is not one of those blessed souls, who can eat literally anything and get away with it. Divyanka had stated, “I have to really really control my diet, I don’t have a great metabolic rate.” For her, carbs are one thing she stays away from mainly because she can’t digest them and, rice and sugar are a total no-no. She had shared, “As soon as I have it, I pop.” Divyanka considers it her cheat day when she has rotis. Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya gets her ‘dabbas made’ with homecooked food and contrary to the beliefs that considering the hectic schedule she eats outside food, “a healthy wrap” is her choice of lunch. Divyanka is a vegetarian, so she loves to stuff her wrap with paneer and vegetables. For the snack, Divyanka opts for a basic cutlet without oil, which is also a healthy option. In between her meals, Divyanka drinks soup, which is sugar-free and filling enough for her hectic schedules. And to keep herself going, Divyanka keeps a box of cheese in hand and takes small bites during the day. For the last meal, she wraps her food by 7:30 pm.
Speaking of Vivek Dahiya’s chiselled physique, the 34-year-old fitness freak flaunts his toned abs and workout glimpses on his Instagram. Sometime back, Vivek had shot with a photographer named Subi Samuel and had posed bare body for the photoshoot. Though he had totally made us go weak in the knees and drool over him, his wife Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya was also completely smitten by her husband. Sharing a behind-the-shoot video of Vivek, she had written, "He is hot!! But here, he's making this video BURRRNNNN! I am a lucky girl! #AcchheKarmonKaPhal Loved this #KillerShoot by @subisamuel!”
In a throwback interview, sharing the fondness for workouts, Vivek had revealed, “This profession has made me more particular about fitness and maintaining a good physique, and I really like it because it’s a good thing… because a healthy body is a healthy mind. I don’t want to disappoint my fans. I know they look at the show with a certain level of expectation and it is important for me as an actor to give my 100% and make them feel proud of me. I do my daily workouts religiously and I eat healthy as well.
