The movie, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had left a huge impact on the minds of the audiences for the beautiful portrayal of the power of unrequited love. It's been five years since the release of this Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer. The film was declared a hit upon its release and had garnered a lot of accolades for its performance and direction. Anushka was praised a lot for playing the role of 'Alizeh Khan' in the movie. However, her husband, Virat Kohli's reaction towards it will always be more special to her.
For the unversed, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's love story had begun during an ad shoot in which they had worked together. The two had instantly clicked and the rest as we say, is history! December 11, 2017, was an auspicious day in Virushka's (as their fans love to call them) life as they had decided to embark on their journey of forever and had exchanged the wedding vows. Since their wedding, we have seen Anushka cheering up for him in the cricket stadium. However, Virat is not very much expressive when it comes to her films.

However, with a changed course of action, during an interview with India Today, Virat Kohli had once talked about his favourite character in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Not just that, he had also revealed the sequence in the film that had touched him the most. Talking about the same, he had said:
“That character (Anushka’s spirited Alizeh) for me is my most favourite ever. I mean I still tell her often even now. Sometimes I sit down and open YouTube and watch that sequence of when she has cancer and the whole thing where Ranbir (Kapoor) comes back…that song is etched in my heart. It is never gonna be going anywhere.”
A few months back, a rare moment of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's PDA had gone viral over the internet. As they have many fan pages, one of them had posted a beautiful moment of the couple from cricketer, Zaheer Khan and actress, Sagarika Ghatge’s wedding reception. In one of the pictures, Virat was seen setting the floor on fire as he had danced holding Anushka’s dupatta, while she had smiled at his gesture. This cutesy moment had spoken volumes about their comfort with each other. On the other hand, in another picture, Zaheer and Virat could be seen dancing with a placard ‘He’s Next’ pointing towards Virat.

Coming back to Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding, during an interaction with Pinkvilla, the cricketer had revealed as to why his wedding with Anushka was a private one. While talking to the portal, he had credited his ladylove for planning everything about the wedding, even the location. The handsome right-handed batsman was quoted as saying:
“So the plan was all executed by Anushka because I was in the middle of the series. So, she (Anushka) figured out the location and everything and she mentioned it in pretty categorically that we have to keep it confidential and there was no other way around it.”
Going further, when Virat was enquired about the wedding location, he had quipped that a media person had reached the venue but was not allowed inside. He had said:
''Yeah, but even then, one of the media guys I think reached there but wasn't allowed to enter. It was so confidential he didn't tell us until we landed in Florence. We landed in Florence and asked the driver 'Where are we going?' and he said, 'Am not supposed to tell you'.”
