The lighthearted moment quickly turned into a funny moment when Vincent jokingly asked his friends to sing the birthday song again before blowing out the candle. Meanwhile, the people present at the celebration recalled that the actor looked relaxed and happy. Eventually, the video became one of his final moments captured on camera.
In fact, Stephen Villano, who has been the actor's friend for thirty years, initially worked as his driver. Eventually, they became close friends. Stephen described Vincent as a generous and compassionate man who loved to make people laugh.
According to him, Vincent was deeply involved in philanthropy. The late actor regularly supported veterans, police officers, children, and families in need. He also took part in fundraising events and holiday programs. All this was a complete contrast to his popular role as a feared mobster.
Vincent Pastore was found dead at his home in the Bronx on August 1, 2026. In fact, it happened after Stephen became concerned when the actor did not respond to his calls. Eventually, the longtime friend decided to check on him and later confirmed the heartbreaking news.
According to police sources, the actor seemed to have died of natural causes in his sleep. At the same time, there were no signs of foul play.
