Vijay Varma is one of the most handsome and talented actors in the Hindi film industry. He has proven his mettle in acting by working in blockbuster films, like Darlings, Lust Stories 2, Gully Boy, Pink, Monsoon Shootout, Yaara and many more. Currently, the actor has been hitting all the headlines for his relationship with Tamannaah Bhatia. For the unversed, the much-in-love couple first met on the sets of their film, Lust Stories 2 and eventually fell in love with each other. And now, Vijay opened up about never wanting to date an actress.
In an interview with Film Companion, Vijay Varma opened up about his personal life and relationship with Tamannaah Bhatia. Talking about the same, the Darlings actor revealed that he never wanted to date a person from the film industry. Elaborating more about it, Vijay stated that he was quite angry with the industry, therefore, he never thought he would be able to get in a relationship with an actress. In his words:
"When I started out, I thought I would not be with an actress or anybody from the industry, just because I was probably angry at the industry."

Further, in the same conversation, Vijay revealed that his thoughts changed after he met Tamannaah. Elaborating more on it, the actor mentioned that when he started dating Tamannaah, he understood the importance of having someone in life who belongs to the same field. Talking more about it, Vijay said:
"So, when we started seeing each other, I found so much value in having somebody who knows the game, who knows the business, who understands the artistic, the creative, the logistics, the financial, all sides of movie making."
In the same converstaion, Vijay talked about his girlfriend, Tamannaah's experience in the film industry. The actor mentioned that her good work and sense really help him in a lot of things. Further, he added that Tamannaah brings perspective to his life. Mentioning how she cheers him whenever he feels a bit low, Vijay said:
"Her experience and her good work and good sense really helps me a lot. She brings perspective to many things. Sometimes, I am just suffering because I said something, did some interview... and she brings perspective immediatedly."

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Vijay and Tamannaah had shared some anecdotes from their relationship. On being asked about the most annoying quality of Tamannaah, the actor shared that she is a workout freak. Vijay added that his ladylove is obsessed with working out and she even sleeps less to hit the gym. Vijay added that he often tells Tamannaah that having a correct sleep cycle is important for a better lifestyle but she never listens him.
