The duo was recently spotted arriving for the red-carpet ceremony of the Filmfare Awards 2023. While Vidya looked elegant in a purple-hued flowing gown, Siddharth looked dapper in an all-black tuxedo. However, the duo seemed not to pose together for a long time towards the shutterbugs. Within a few moments, Siddharth was seen making his way towards the awards entrance while Vidya continued to pose.

However, this small matter was blown out of proportion by the netizens, who spammed the video's comment section with nasty comments about the couple. While someone felt that Vidya was ignorant of her husband’s presence beside her, as she was too busy to pose, others felt that Siddharth had enough of his wife’s gimmick show and thereby decided to leave.
Well, while such unnecessary criticism was not enough, the netizens went on to body shame the actress for her outfit and poses. While someone felt that her outfit was completely misfit and did not look well, others commented about her poses and said it appeared as if the actress had been posing from her home.
