A viral video of Vicky Kaushal being pushed away by Salman Khan’s bodyguards has been going viral on social media. The incident happened during the IIFA awards, held in Abu Dhabi. Now, the Raazi actor reacted to the video and shared his take on the same.
A day after the video went viral, Vicky Kaushal reacted to the incident. Talking to the media on the green carpet of IIFA, Vicky stated that often things are not actually the same as they appear. Calling the whole fiasco an ‘unnecessary chatter’, the handsome actor stated:
“A lot of times there is unnecessary chatter about things. There’s no point about it. Things don’t actually are as they seem in the video. There is no point in talking about that.”

For the unversed, it was on May 26, 2023, when a video of Vicky Kaushal and Salman Khan went viral on social media. In the video, Salman was seen gracing the event, while Vicky was seen taking a selfie with one of his fans. Seeing Salman, Vicky greets him, but the actor’s security guards block Vicky from meeting Salman.

Since the video went viral on social media, many users started sympathizing with Vicky and called out Salman’s rude behaviour. One of the users wrote, “6 foot ka aadmi nahi dikha! Aise kaun dhakka maarta hain yaar.” Another user commented, “That was arrogant, rude asf.. but, Damn...! Talk about star power… Vicky was bulldozed aside like he was no one.”
