Ankita Lokhande made her acting debut with Ektaa Kapoor's popular show, Pavitra Rishta, alongside late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. While the duo's on-screen chemistry won many hearts, love soon blossomed between them in real life. However, Ankita and Sushant parted ways after seven years of being in a happy relationship. Moreover, while Sushant passed away in 2020, Ankita got married to Vicky Jain in 2022.
Recently, Ankita Lokhande entered the Bigg Boss 17 house with her husband, Vicky Jain, and grabbed the fourth position. The duo's marriage hit a rough patch, and they faced many challenges inside the house, owing to their fights. Moreover, Ankita was often seen discussing her ex-boyfriend, the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, inside the BB house. Recently, Vicky Jain reacted to his wife, Ankita using Sushant's name for attention.

In an interview with ETimes TV, Vicky Jain reacted to the allegations levied against Ankita Lokhande and refuted the claims of using Sushant's name for attention. The businessman clarified that Ankita only speaks positively about Sushant. Vicky also mentioned that since Ankita has been in the industry for many years now, her relationship with Sushant led to many discussions. He said:
"Like see I stayed in the Bigg Boss house and I bonded well with four people and I was also linked with them during conversations. Ankita has been in the industry for close to 12-14 years and her relationship with Sushant has been prominent. Kyunki woh relationship raha hal log unse sawaal poochte the yaa baatein discuss karte the.. even if people don't ask questions they just discuss him with Ankita. Also, I believe when you don’t have anything in your heart against anyone aur aap sab bhul ke aage badh chuke ho, then you are just unfiltered."
Vicky further mentioned that Ankita always speaks her heart out, and her decisions are based on her real feelings rather than calculated strategies. He also shared that if a person wants to be artificial, they pretend to be something they are not, but the case is not the same with Ankita. He said:
"Aap artificial tab banoge when you are playing with your mind. Ankita always makes decisions using her heart and she is like that as a person. When she feels mere dil mein ye baat aarahi hai then she speaks. I know this trait about her. That's why I never had any issues with her talking about Sushant. She has always said good things."

Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande were Sushant's friends, even after the latter's breakup with him. In the same interview, the businessman shared that he feels that when someone has no ill feelings towards others, they are more open and unfiltered about their past. He added:
"Woh hota hai na sirf acchi cheezein reh jaati hain when something ends only good things are there to speak. You don't remember the hurt, or anger. Ankita ka jo bhi hai, woh pure heart se keh deti hai, neither she wants anything out of it nor she will get anything. Hum jaise hain Waise hain and that's the reason people like her. We don't want any effect of that topic and it's just that if - something comes in our hearts about Sushant neither I've a problem speaking about him nor Ankita has."
