Bigg Boss season 17's grand finale is all set to air on January 28, 2024, and fans are curious to find out who will grab the winning trophy. Ankita Lokhande, who is one of the strongest contestants on the show, has witnessed many setbacks in her relationships while being on the show. Earlier, her mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, came inside the Bigg Boss 17 house and slammed her bahu for her behaviour towards Vicky Jain on the show.
While Ranjana Jain was labelled as the typical saas by the netizens, she tried to change the narrative when she was recently spotted outside the Bigg Boss 17 house. She came to attend the finale shoot of the show with Ankita's mother, Vandana and was seen cheering for her bahu. Upon getting papped, the shutterbugs asked Ranjana to comment on Ankita. To which, she said:
"Jeetegi, trophy leke aaegi ghar."

It all started when Ankita Lokhande's mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, entered the show, Bigg Boss 17, she expressed her disappointment over her bahu hitting Vicky with a slipper and condemned her actions. Vicky’s mom even went on to reveal that his father called Ankita’s mom right after the incident and asked the latter if she also used to hit her husband. This left Ankita shocked, and she was heartbroken to see how her in-laws were dragging her late father into the fiasco.
After her exit from Bigg Boss 17, Ranjana Jain sat for a conversation with Pinkvilla and made shocking statements about Ankita and Vicky's wedding. Vicky’s mother claimed that her son got married to Ankita as per his choice and that they were never in support of the wedding. In her words:
“Ankita se shadi Vicky ne hi ki hai, hum log to koi support me the nahi. Vicky ne hi ki hai, ab wo nibhaane ko taiyaar hai. Hum logon ko kuch lena dena nahi hai. Itna sab dekh rahe hain, lekin hum log ek bhi baar kuch nahi keh rahe hain. Wo aayega to wo apna rishta sudharega. Bigaada usi ne hai, to wo hi sudharega. Hume vishwaas hai ki Vicky sab kuch kar lega, wo hai aesa ladki.”

In one of the previous episodes of BB17, Ankita Lokhande shared that she was feeling scared about how she would face her mother-in-law after the latter made such big statements about her. The actress further shared that her saasu maa is very upset with her and added that she accepts that she made mistakes which can't be undone now. However, she mentioned that she would apologise to her saasu maa for the same and said:
"How will I face mummy? I just have this question now. She gave such big statements, I don't know how to face her. I don't know Vicky. Because she is so upset with me so I don't know what I will tell her. I will say sorry to mummy and will tell her that I made a mistake."
