Talking about wedding rumours, one Bollywood actor whose wedding speculations have been churning the gossip mills is Varun Dhawan. The day Varun Dhawan made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s film, Student Of The Year, he had become the heartthrob of the entire nation. After his debut film, Varun was linked with some of his co-stars but it was revealed later that Varun is dating his childhood sweetheart, Natasha Dalal. Since then, wedding rumours of Natasha and Varun had been filling gossip columns.
February 12, 2020, saw the Dhawan and Dalal clan coming together and the pictures from their get-together have been doing rounds on the internet sparking rumours of a possible roka ceremony of Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal. However, it was Varun who took to his Twitter handle and clarified the same with his tweet which can be read as "Hey guys before u let your imagination run wild it was a birthday party wanted to clarify before any false news is spread cheers." On February 12, 2020, one of the paparazzi’s shared pictures where Varun Dhawan’s family arrived at Dalal residence to celebrate the birthday of Natasha Dalal’s father. Varun’s father, David Dhawan and other family members were seen coming together for the birthday celebrations. Both the families posed for the shutterbugs. Their happy faces were giving us all the hints that their wedding date has finally been decided.
Earlier, it was speculated that Varun and Natasha will tie the knot by the end of 2019, but the duo and Varun’s father had refuted any such rumours and had stated that when the date will be finalised it will be shared with everyone. But according to a report by Pinkvilla, Varun and Natasha were speculated to tie the knot in April 2020. As per the report, Natasha and Varun are set for a summer wedding in April end or May. Natasha Dalal’s fashion label was featured in Hello India magazine and she spoke about her love story with Varun Dhawan and revealed how they went from being just friends to dating. She had revealed, “Varun and I were in school together. We stayed friends until we were in our mid-20s and then, I remember, we started dating just before I moved away. It was around then that, I think, we realised we were more than just good friends.” She also addressed their impending marriage and said, “Marriage is on the cards eventually, just not right now.”
In an interview with the Filmfare, Varun Dhawan had shed light on his relationship with Natasha Dalal and had also revealed how love had evolved between them. He had revealed, “She and I went to school together. So, she knows my parents for ages. She’s been attending functions with my parents before also but it wasn’t photographed then. She’s my rock, she’s my anchor. She’s the stabilizing factor in my life. It’s pretty much like family.”
When Varun Dhawan appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan, he was all praises for his ladylove. He was quoted as saying, “I’m with her because she has her own individuality, she has her own voice which is super strong with things she wants to do and things she wants to achieve in life. And, as her partner, that is something I want to support.
