It is said that once you get married all your myths about 'happily ever after' breaks after the honeymoon period ends. But the fact is that there are many, who enter into the holy matrimony with the thought that it is a beautiful box filled with love, companionship, friendship and romance. However, the truth is that a marriage is an empty box from the start and you have to consciously fill it with love and romance. You need to keep the box filled before you think of taking anything out of. And a perfect example it is the telly town's favourite couple, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim. On February 22, 2018, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim had tied the knot in the latter's hometown. The duo had met each other on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka in the year 2011. Initially, they had started off being good friends as Dipika was already married to Raunak Mehta. But in the year 2015, she had a bitter divorce from her ex-husband, and that's when she found love again in Shoaib and she took the leap of faith and gave marriage a second chance. Since then, their Instagram feeds are filled with in-love pictures, cute love notes and their family bonding.
Currently, Dipika is busy with her serial, Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, but despite it, she makes sure to take time out for her family. The actress knows how to strike a perfect work-life balance. On February 12, 2020, Dipika took to her Instagram handle and posted an in-love picture with her 'jaan' and wrote, "Tu hi dil hai, Tu hi jaan hai!!", followed by a heart emoji. In the picture, we can see Dipika wearing a gorgeous pink suit. On the other hand, Shoaib looked dapper in a blue and white striped shirt which he teamed with a pair of blue jeans. On August 6, 2019, Dipika had turned a year older, and her husband, Shoaib had made sure to make her day super special. He had taken to his Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures from her birthday celebrations. Along with it, he wrote, "I am lucky enough to fall in love with my best friend, so as you turn a year older, I just want to say how happy I am that you are mine!! You complete my world. Love you.. happy birthday bachcha @ms.dipika."
In an interview with The Times of India, Dipika had talked about how she fell in love with Shoaib, and had shared, "I wanted to be sure that this relationship wasn’t on the rebound. Also, we were getting to know each other better. No matter how progressive we become, being a divorcee has some kind of a social stigma attached to it in our society. I had that stamp on me. But he gave me that space and despite being aware of my past, never complained about it. He has in fact always respected that. Coming from a small town, even his parents never let me feel that. I have always longed for family. Ammi sends dabba for me when my mother is not there. I feel I am more close to his mom than him. Everything is positive and we are more at peace now." For those who don't know, Dipika has also ventured in the fashion industry and she runs her own fashion line. In another interview with The Times of India, Dipika had shared that the fashion line is dedicated to her ammi (mother-in-law) and had stated, "The fashion line is named after our Ammi's name and she is the inspiration behind my clothing line. My sister-in-law was the one who gave me the idea to turn into a stylist. She told me since I have a very different and elegant style, I can venture into having a clothing line for girls who can wear the type of clothes you do. I am enjoying playing with fabrics, colours, etc. Earlier, I was doing it only for myself and our family but now I have decided to take it one step further as a business."
