A ballroom insider told The Sun that Jenna Johnson broke down in tears backstage after her clash with Carrie Ann Inaba on Tuesday. For the unversed, Carrie Ann Inaba critiqued Jenna's samba routine. According to the judge, it should have been 'more content'. She also pointed out an illegal 'lift' in Jenna's performance with Harry Shum Jr. during the 'Super Bowl Night' on DWTS.
Following Carrie's comment, Jenna asked, 'A lift?' To this, Carrie read the definition aloud from a paper, which says, "When one of the dancers has both feet off the floor at the same time with the assistance or support of their partner."

According to the ballroom insider, Jenna was crying, and Val comforted her backstage. Sources shared that Val was "pissed" about the incident. While Jenna was upset about Carrie's feedback, Val didn't like the way his wife was being talked to. According to the source:
"Jenna was sad and upset by Carrie Ann’s feedback, but Val was furious that she talked to his wife like that."
Jenna also felt terrible for her dance partner, Harry Shum Jr., and was determined to make it up, the next week with an outstanding performance, which will blow the judges' minds and leave fans emotional.
