Popular television actress, Vaishali Takkar's death has left her family and fans in a state of utter shock. For the unversed, she committed suicide on October 16, 2022, and was found hanging at her home in Indore. The 30-year-old actress was at the peak of her career, and her decision to take such a drastic step in her life has left her fans heartbroken.
Vaishali Takkar also left a suicide note for her family, in which she mentioned that she was mentally and physically harassed by her neighbour, Rahul Navlani and his family. A copy of the handwritten suicide note has been doing rounds on the internet wherein she had apologised to her parents for being a bad daughter. Vaishali also revealed that Rahul and his family had tortured her a lot for 2.5 years and asked her parents to get him punished.

Now in a recent media interaction, Vaishali Takkar's brother, Neeraj Takkar revealed the details about the accused, Rahul Navlani, and shared that the latter's father runs a plywood business in Indore. He also revealed that Vaishali met Rahul when she came to Indore during the pandemic. The doting brother also added that Vaishali and Rahul used to meet in the gym daily, and thus, they became friends.
Further in the conversation, Neeraj shared that Rahul used to harass his sister, Vaishali a lot and revealed that he used to threaten her that he would never let her get married. He also mentioned that Rahul used to message Vaishali's fiance and would threaten him as well. Adding that Vaishali has written about all her relationships in her diary, Neeraj said:
"Woh usse aksar dhamkata tha ki tera ghar nahi basne dunga...shaadi nahi hone dunga. Dairy mein Vaishali ne sab relationship ke baare mein likh rakha tha. Jis ladke se sagai hui thi, usko Rahul message karta tha aur Vaishali ko dhamkata tha."

Talking about her professional career, Vaishali Takkar was a popular name in Tinseltown. She made her debut with the show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2015, and rose to fame with her stint on the same. She also portrayed the role of 'Anjali Bharadwaj' in the serial, Sasural Simar Ka 2. Meanwhile, she was all set to tie the knot with a software engineer based out of California in December 2022.
