Vahbiz Dorabjee has been one of the most talented and loved faces in the television industry. She made her debut with the hit serial, Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani in 2010, which gave her immense recognition. Thereafter, she went on to work in serials like Bahu Humari Rajnikant, Savitri, Saraswatichandra among others. In her personal life, she was previously married to actor, Vivian Dsena, with whom she parted ways in 2017. Ever since, she has well-established herself as a social media influencer, with over 1M followers on her IG handle. Moreover, she has garnered a lot of limelight for actively professing body-positive notions and speaking up against body shaming.
Being an active social media user, Vahbiz dropped a video of herself on August 1, 2023, on her IG handle. In the transition video, the actress could be seen a couple of glamorous outfits, as she posed elegantly with them. Moreover, keeping in mind the current trend, Vahbiz used the popular ‘Barbie’ music, as she channelled her inner diva vibes. While her video was massively applauded by her ardent fans and followers, there was a section of netizens, who penned inappropriate and insulting comments, body-shaming her.

Well, it seems Vahbiz has indeed taken note of the highly demeaning trolls that she received on her video, and gave a befitting response to it as well. Taking to her IG stories, she penned a powerful note as she slammed each of her trollers. Moreover, she spoke about how women are forced to maintain the unattainable standards of society. Nevertheless, she emphasised that she was not ready to submit to stereotypes, and is willing to stand by her own merit. An excerpt of her note can be read as:
“I'm so disgusted to see some of the harsh comments on my Barbie video.Some people are writing not Barbie..shes a bhens..pehli baar dehki aisi Barbie..And many more.its so shameful that today also girls are expected to Keep up with unattainable standards just to please society.”
Vahbiz has always been quite vocal in putting forth her views, be it on her constant body-shaming or her widely discussed divorce with Vivian Dsena. For instance, in one of her earlier interviews with Siddharth Kannan, she opened up on her life post-divorce and revealed how she faced stiff health issues for five years after the same. She added she was diagnosed with diabetes after that, and was not able to share it with anybody else.

Agree or not, Vivian Dsena and Vahbiz Dorabjee were truly one of the most-loved couples back in the day. Therefore, their divorce rumours surely made everyone surprised. Fast forward to today, with so many years having gone by, the fans of the ex-couple often reminisce about the past. Speaking about the same, Vahbiz, in one of her earlier interviews with ETimes, revealed how it bothers both her and Vivian when people bring back their past, since they have been trying to move on in their lives.
