Urvashi Rautela often hits the headlines, be it through her out-of-the-box sartorial picks or even her shocking claims about her life. The diva, who was crowned as Miss Universe Diva in 2015, often leaves a section of the audience unimpressed with her queen-size life and anecdotes from her personal life. Something similar happened yet again, when Urvashi claimed herself to be an IITian, before she entered into the showbiz world.
Taking to the discussion forum, Reddit, a user recently shared a clip of one of Urvashi Rautela’s interviews, where she claimed to have cleared IIT before marking her step into Bollywood. In the clip, a reporter can be seen asking Urvashi to explain her claims of being an IITian in many of her previous interactions. To this, the diva explained that she did clear the IIT before she debuted in the film industry. She could be quoted as saying:
“I had Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and I scored 96 percentage for the board exams. And I do not want to disrespect any IITian, its dream for everybody, like it was mine. I was preparing for it, I have cleared it, so yeah.”

As soon as the video went viral on Reddit, netizens took to the comment section and expressed their views on the same. A significant portion of them were in total disbelief at the actress’ claims, and started to mock her about it. While one user wrote, “I don't think even she believed it, right there”, another user commented, “It’s always the same reporter”. Well, another comment can be read as, “JEE clear kiya tha ya aise hi fek rahi thi?”
A few days back on August 23, 2023, Urvashi Rautela had taken to her IG handle, and dropped a picture of herself beside the glorious ICC Cricket World Cup trophy 2023, posing against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Along with it, she announced with pride, her happiness to be chosen as the first Indian actress for unveiling such a prestigious trophy ever. However, she received a lot of backlash for her revelation, as netizens mocked her stance and refused to believe her achievement. Taking to Reddit, users created a post with her picture and expressed their views in the comments.

Urvashi Rautela’s alleged relationship with cricketer, Rishabh Pant is not unknown to anyone. While the duo never spoke about it in public, however, their indirect dig against one another in frequent interviews hinted that something might’ve brewed between them in the past, but has ended. Interestingly, the diva once got angry when a fan misused her name to distract Rishabh Pant, who was playing his match. Re-sharing the particular video, Urvashi had said:
“STOP BUTCHERING MY LAST NAME WHICH IS SO PRECIOUS TO ME. WORDS HAVE MEANING & SURNAMES HAVE POWER & BLESSINGS #IDontLikeIt #notfunny”
