Urvashi Rautlea, one of the famous faces of the Hindi film industry, never shies away from hitting the headlines for one reason or another. Talking about her professional life, the actress was seen in several movies such as Sanam Re, Great Grand Masti, Hate Story 4, Pagalpanti, and more. Moreover, it is Urvashi's personal life that often grabs the limelight. For the unversed, Urvashi's name from the past few years was linked with the Indian cricketer, Rishabh Pant. However, things turned sour between the duo, and they ended up taking indirect jibes at one another.
It was only a few days ago when Urvashi Rautela, in an ad video, seemingly height-shamed Pant, for which she attracted a lot of flak. Now, she finally broke her silence over the same by issuing a statement. Taking to her IG handle a while ago, Urvashi penned a long note, wherein she mentioned that the lines she had earlier told in the video were nothing but a script given to her by the brand she worked for. The actress also stated that it was not directed towards anybody. Calling herself a responsible individual, Urvashi, in her statement, remarked:
"It’s a generic brand script given by the brand and it’s their prerogative. Not directed towards anyone, #spreadpositivity. As a responsible individual, I understand the impact individuals can have from me as the brand’s basic ambassador #hope #inspirekindness.”

It was on March 31, 2024, when Urvashi Rautela dropped a video on her IG handle in collaboration with a brand. In the video, the actress could be seen talking about her search for her life partners. However, there was a line where the actress stated she met a lot of cricketers, and some of them didn't even match her height. However, as soon as the video was shared online, netizens got furious, thinking that this line was an indirect dig at the cricketer, Rishabh Pant.
All the fiasco between Urvashi Rautela and Rishabh Pant began when the reports about the actress dating a cricketer hit the headlines. The rumours were further ignited when Urvashi said that, while she was shooting in Delhi, Mr RP waited for her the whole night at the hotel lobby, but she couldn't meet him as she fell asleep. The actress also stated that she had promised to meet Mr RP in Mumbai, but when they finally met, a huge scene was created by the shutterbugs. Although, Urvashi didn't take Rishabh Pant's name, everyone started speculating about whether Mr. RP was Rishabh Pant.

Soon after the interview went viral, Rishabh Pant took to his IG stories and penned a cryptic note, wherein he said that people should stop lying around just for the sake of popularity. He also added, "Mera Picha Chhoro Behen and Jhuth Ki Bhi Limit Hoti Hai." Although, Rishabh deleted the post later, Urvashi, took to her IG handle and posted a note and seemingly took a jibe at Rishabh. The actress even seemingly called the cricketer, 'chotu bhaiya'. Her note could be read as:
“Chotu bhaiyaa should play bat ball ot…main koyi munni nahi hoon badnaam hone with young kiddo darling tere liye #RAKSHABANDHAN mubarak ho. #RPCHOTUBHAIYYA #CougarHunter #Don'ttakeadvantageofasilentgirl."
