Earlier on August 23, 2023, Urvashi took to her social media handle and dropped a picture of herself, gorgeously decked in a gold-hued ensemble. She posed alongside the trophy for the ICC cricket world cup for the year 2023, against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. Along with the picture, Urvashi penned a note and shared:
“FIRST ACTOR TO OFFICIALLY LAUNCH & UNVEIL “CRICKET WORLD CUP 2023 TROPHY. AT THE EIFFEL TOWER IN PARIS FRANCE.”

However, it seems that Urvashi’s announcement left a major section of netizens unimpressed. As soon as Urvashi shared the post on her social media handle, a user re-shared the picture on the discussion forum, Reddit and created a thread on the same. Taking to the comment section, users expressed their dissatisfaction on the same. While one user wrote, “This looks like she's in a photo studio and added that Eiffel tower in the background, another user commented, “Is she brainwashed certain way?”. Yet another user wrote, “She does It deliberately to stay relevant.”
Urvashi Rautela’s relationship with her rumoured beau and cricketer, Rishabh Pant has often grabbed the headlines. While the duo never accepted or denied dating one another, however, their indirect, angry remarks against one another hinted at something that might have brewed between them, but has ended bitterly. However, the diva once got angry when a fan misused her name to distract Rishabh Pant, who was playing his match. Re-sharing the video, Urvashi had said:

Urvashi Rautela hit the headlines when she donned an alligator necklace, apparently priced at about Rs. 200 crores. However, as per a later clarification issued by a fashion interpreter, the necklace was a cheap dupe of the original one. However, Urvashi finally reacted to the immense trolling she received for the same, and highlighted how people wrote simply bizarre information without knowing the true facts.
