Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen got married as per dual wedding customs- a Rajasthani and a Bengali wedding in Goa. Many women, since their very childhood, fantasise about their wedding day and Charu Asopa too, had one as she was always fascinated by white weddings. And how truly she lived upto her dream at her own wedding! The duo had an intimate engagement ceremony in Goa wherein they had looked ethereal in a white dress as they put rings in each other’s fingers, cut the cake with a sword and pop the champagne.

As they rightly say, chooda, sindoor and mangalsutra change a woman’s look and the same happened beautifully for Charu Asopa, now Mrs Sen. Rajeev Sen had taken to Instagram and posted their first post-wedding look. Decked in a saree and sindoor, Charu Asopa Sen had looked beautiful! The newly-married duo also took their first flight together and for the same, Rajeev had posted a beautiful picture. He wrote the words, "First flight together and that too as husband and wife.” And just a while back, the newbie bride took to Instagram and posted a couple of post-wedding glimpses. Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen surely look like a match made straight out of heaven. In an interview with the Bombay Times, the Baal Veer actress had revealed if it was love at first sight for them. She had shared, "After our first meeting, we had decided to catch up again over coffee, but I left for my hometown, Bikaner. I was on a much-needed break after my show, Jiji Maa, ended. In fact, I hadn’t decided when to return. However, as luck would have it, I was offered KarnSangini and had to report on the set the very next day. I texted Rajeev from the set and told him that we could meet for coffee. I had assumed that the meeting would end in half an hour. However, we went on talking for hours until I told him that I had to leave as I had an early call time the next day. We started chatting, spending time together and the rest, as they say, is history. When Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa hadn’t confirmed their relationship yet, a source had shared with a media portal, “Yes, Charu and Rajeev are dating each other. Their relationship is very tender at this stage. Both of them are not ready to talk about their relationship in public as of now and are taking things slowly. They are really fond of each other. The two bumped at a party and got along like a house on fire.”
And it was then, in an interview with the Bombay Times, when Charu Asopa had shared many details about their wedding. She had stated, "It will be an intimate affair with just 20-25 people each from our respective families in attendance. Our families had originally zeroed in on a date in December, but Rajeev, during a conversation with me, said that it’s too far. That’s how we advanced the date to June 16. Forget others, even our families were surprised to learn about our decision. We will have a reception in Mumbai depending on the availability of our families and friends."
About the kind of wedding they are planning to have, Charu Asopa was quoted as saying, "I have always dreamt of having a white wedding. So, we plan to have a Christian-themed engagement and I will wear a white gown for it. The idea is to start with white — the colour stands for peace and purity — and then add colours to our functions and costumes, with us in red on our wedding day. We will be colour-coordinated for all our functions. While the pheras will happen according to Rajasthani and Bengali rituals, the theme for the wedding will be royal Rajasthani. I am in a shopping mode now. I haven’t taken up any new project, as I want to spend time with Rajeev after marriage."
While we know so much about their wedding now, don't you want to know what plans Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen have about their honeymoon? A confident Charu had shared that Rajeev will surely surprise her on their honeymoon. Commenting on their honeymoon plans, Charu was quoted as saying, "Rajeev will decide on that.
