Karan Singh Grover's portrayal of Mr Bajaj has been met with applause from the fans of the serial. In fact, the episode which aired last night was Karan's first appearance as Mr Bajaj. As soon as the episode went on air, memes and vines started to flood social media, and seems like one of the memes have caught Karan and Bipasha's fancy! Read on to know more.
Bipasha Basu took to her Instagram handle to share a meme in which we can see the characters of Mr Bajaj and Anurag Basu, and there is the third pic wherein it's not Prerna but Bipasha Basu Grover herself. Atop the meme, it's written, "Suna hai Bajaj iss baar Basu ki Waaat Lageyga (Seems like Bajaj will screw Basu this time)." As hilarious as it sounds, Bipasha Basu's caption made it even funnier which could be read as, "Hmmmm Bachke Rehna Re Bajaj Bachke rehna re... Bachke Rehna Re Bajaj Tujh pe Nazar hain... #humarabajaj."
Karan Singh Grover replied to the meme shared by Bipasha Basu Grover through an Instagram story where he shared the same meme, and wrote, "Iss Basu Ki Waat Lagane ke Baare mein socha toh ghar mein khana ni milega (If I think about destroying this Basu (Bipasha) then, I won’t get food in the house) (sic)" atop it! Funny, isn't it?
Recently, in an interview with SpotboyE, Karan had revealed Bipasha's first reaction on seeing his transformation as Mr Bajaj. He had said, "She doesn't compliment easily but seeing me in Mr Bajaj attire, she said 'I am looking hot'. What else you need?"
In an interview with The Indian Express, Karan had talked about Bipasha and how he seeks her guidance in everything, even in his professional life. He had stated, "We do talk about work. There’s not much of guidance that I can offer her. But anything interesting that she reads, she does tell me. Personally, I seek her guidance in everything. She is very sorted in life and has the best advice. It’s mandatory for me to tell her everything as she is my go-to person in all regards." Karan Singh Grover, in a recent interview, had praised Ronit Roy (who had played the role of Mr Bajaj in the first instalment of the serial). Karan was quoted as saying, "I don’t think anyone can step into his shoes. He has played that role with such class and magnificence that I don’t think me or any other actor can reach up to his level. We have our own little shoes that we bring to the table. And I am just happy that I am doing the same role that he portrayed. I feel really good and happy that he said he’s glad about me reprising his part."
He had also shared that he is really happy with the way Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes have been playing the lead roles of Anurag Basu and Prerna respectively. Karan had said, "I've been watching the show from the beginning. I've seen many episodes of it. I think Parth and Erica are both looking fantastic. Both look good in the character of love and inspiration. He's something to do with his character. Anyway, no one can touch the work of Shweta Tiwari. But both have done an amazing job."
Coming back to Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu Grover, the doting husband had recently shared that he and his wifey aren't planning a baby anytime soon. He had shared with an online tabloid, "We definitely want a baby in future but it’s not happening right now. Parenting is a special feeling and we both would love to experience it for sure." Karan had further added, "Before I become a father I think I have a lot of growing up to do. It’s not my forte, I mean growing up, I actually don’t understand what it means. (Laughs) So I don’t think I have the maturity yet. Having a child is no joke, I have to take proper responsibility for another life.
