Often referred to as the power couple of Tollywood, Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya’s love story is nothing less than any fairytale. They are the perfect exemplars of opposites attract as Samantha is known for her bindaas attitude and an avid social media user, whereas her husband, Chay is opposite to her and keeps his personal life out of media glares. It was on October 6, 2017, when Samantha and Naga had tied the knot in a dreamy 2-day wedding. The couple had first gotten married according to typical South Indian ritual and later in a Christian wedding.
We recently stumbled upon an unseen picture of Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya from their cousin and Tollywood actor, Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj’s wedding. In the candid picture, Samantha looked gorgeous in a light-weight silk saree by Raw Mango. The navy-blue saree had floral prints and a thick border. She paired her saree with a contrasting aqua blue blouse. She complemented her look with an ethnic choker and matching earrings. On the other hand, her hubby, Naga looked dapper in a cream kurta with detailed thread work with slim breech pants. The duo looked like a match-made-in-heaven.
Naga Chaitanya’s cousin, Rana Daggubati had gotten rokafied to the love of his life, Miheeka Bajaj in an intimate ceremony at Hyderabad in the presence of their close friends and family members. Samantha had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a group picture from the function and written, "Thankyou for bringing us the best news of 2020. @ranadaggubati @miheeka... here’s to your happily ever after." She had also taken to her Instagram stories and had shared an adorable candid picture with her hubby, Naga. Samantha had looked ethereal in an ethnic yellow dress whereas Naga had complemented his wife in a checked shirt and trousers. She had written, “When you get to dress up after 2 months” atop the picture.
On November 23, 2019, Naga Chaitanya had celebrated his 33rd birthday and his doting wife, Samantha Akkineni had shared an adorable birthday wish for him. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had written a lovely note which could be read as “Happy birthday my @chayakkineni... Every single day I pray for your happiness and I am so proud that with every passing day you have grown to be the best version of yourself... and I believe with all my heart that we are stronger together... In an interaction with Famously Filmfare, Naga couldn’t stop feeling grateful for marrying Samantha and was all praises for her. He had also confessed that she is a devil and he knows all her mischiefs. He had said, “I think there was a point when we both were single. We hung out more than normal. So, automatically things started building between us. I was also mentally looking to settle down. I always looked forward to having a family. So, all those thoughts started flowing in my head and she was right there in front of me. So, I was like she is a known devil (chuckles). I know all her mischief and I am fine with them."
