Akshay Kumar and his author-wife, Twinkle Khanna are one of the most adorable couples in Bollywood. From their funny love banter on social media to their cutesy pictures, the much-in-love couple never fails to seize everyone's heart with their sizzling chemistry. For the unversed, the lovebirds first met during a photo shoot for Filmfare magazine. Eventually, they fell in love and got married on January 17, 2001. They are blessed with two beautiful kids, Aarav and Nitara. Today, as they celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary, Twinkle shared a sweet post for him and recalled an incident from their 5th date.
A few hours ago, Twinkle Khanna shared a video post on her IG handle. However, she deleted it later. In the now-deleted video, the lovebirds were seen walking hand-in-hand. Sharing the video, Twinkle had recalled how on their 5th date, she told Akshay that she would never marry a person like him and how his reply won her heart. In her words:
"Only he could have found the perfect card! On our fifth date, I told him, 'I would never marry someone like you.' He instantly replied,' I don't remember asking you.' I was so impressed with that line."

January 17, 2023, marked the 22nd wedding anniversary of Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar. And to make the day a bit more special, the former actress shared a lovely post for her hubby, Akshay. Sharing a picture of a beautiful hand-written card which featured a cartoon named Tina on her Instagram handle, Twinkle showered love on her husband. Along with the photo, she even penned a long note expressing her love for him. Her note can be read as:
"Only he could have got me this card! 22 years and it feels like our 2nd anniversary. It's been over two decades and we have built a life that encompasses two children, our extended families, work, friends, dogs, a few goldfish, independence and stability. I suppose you don't have to be alike to make it work. You just have to like each other enough."
In the same post, Twinkle even shared a lovey-dovey selfie with her husband, Akshay Kumar. In the picture, the much-in-love couple looked extremely adorable as they posed for the camera. Twinkle looked pretty in a black-hued fur coat which she teamed with a multi-coloured shawl. On the other hand, her hubby, Akshay donned a black-hued padded jacket with a hat.

A few hours ago, Akshay too, shared an adorable anniversary post on his Instagram handle. He shared a cutesy picture with his wife, Twinkle. In the picture, the lovebirds can be enjoying each other's company. Moreover, they looked picture-perfect in their ethnic ensembles. While Twinkle looked elegant in a pink-hued saree paired with a white blouse, Akshay donned an embroidered kurta-pyjama set. Along with it, he wrote a lovely note for his wife, which can be read as:
"Two imperfect people who have perfectly been stuck together since twenty-two years! Happy anniversary Tina."
On January 15, 2023, twinkle Khanna had taken to her Instagram handle and shared a video featuring her husband, Akshay and their daughter, Nitara. In the video, their little princess could be seen peacefully enjoying the scenic view, while Akshay could be seen paddling the boat. Along with the video, Twinkle even penned a hilarious note on marriage. Taking a dig at her husband for making her pedal along with him on a freezing morning, Twinkle called her marriage a 'Faraday Cage'.
