Compliments. To some, it comes naturally but some believe in ‘eyes speak a thousand words’. Showing your admiration to someone will make their world a little bit sunnier! And words of praise from the ones you love can make someone’s day instantly. After all, who doesn’t love receiving compliments? We are sure Twinkle Khanna’s mother, Dimple Kapadia must be on cloud nine as her proud daughter penned a complimentary post for her performance in the film, Tenet. (Also Read: Sunny Leone And Daughter, Nisha Kaur Weber Channel Their Inner Artists And Make A Painting Together)

Since Twinkle Khanna a.k.a., Mrs Funnybones can defeat anybody with her words and wit, even her simple tweet or post drips in sarcasm as her sassy-self comes out best. For instance, during the pandemic 2020 lockdown, Twinkle had posted a picture of her meal i.e., a bowl of delicious looking fried rice, but it was her caption that had stolen the show. Twinkle had revealed that it was the first time she got her first-ever taste of ‘maa ke haath ka khana’. Twinkle captioned her post as “It has only taken 46 years, a pandemic and an extended lockdown for my mother to make me my first meal-fried rice. Now I also know what people mean when they say ‘Maa Ke Haath Ka Khana’ #MamaMia.”

Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar with their children, Aarav and Nitara are in Scotland and the actress-turned-author managed to squeeze in some time to watch her mother, Dimple Kapadia’s film, Tenet in the theatre. Praising her mother for her ‘wonderful part’ in the film, Twinkle wrote, “Finally saw Tenet in the theatre and though my mother is so laid-back that she refuses to do any publicity around it, she has a wonderful part and is completely incredible. Variety writes, "A sinister whisper network of international arms dealers emerges, with one of them, Priya (the wonderful Dimple Kapadia, in the film's wiliest performance) serving principally to coax the protagonist through the corridors of Nolan's storytelling.” #MamaMia.”

Since the worldwide lockdown was imposed and the cinemas were shut down, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet becomes the first big-budget Hollywood feature to go for a theatrical release. A few days back, sharing a behind-the-scene video of the film, Tenet featuring her mother, Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle had written, “East Or West, Dimple is the Best! I never thought I would riff on an Anu Malik song but this one had to be done:) #Tenet #ProudDaughter #behindthescenes.” (Also Read: Dipika Kakar Ibrahim Shares A Beautiful Picture With Her 'Ammi' And Her 'Mummy')

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had also watched the film in London, where she’s staying with her husband, Anand S Ahuja. Sonam had given a shout out to Dimple Kapadia, who made her Hollywood debut, for her performance in Tenet. Sonam had written, “So I went to watch @tenetfilm in the cinema today. Firstly the incredible experience of watching a film on the big screen is unparalleled. “Secondly to watch the luminous Dimple Kapadia in the film gave me goosebumps. Nothing compares to cinema, the big screen and its magic. Nothing.” Richa Chadha had commented on the post, “Missing the cinemas. What a film you got to see and what a moment of pride for India! Woohoo, Dimple Kapadia ji making her Hollywood debut with Nolan!”

In one of her columns for The Times of India, Twinkle Khanna had raised a Mother’s Day toast to all the perfectly imperfect moms in the world and had recalled an incident when her mother, Dimple Kapadia had commented on her daughter’s highlights. Recalling the incident, Twinkle had written, “I clearly recall more than one occasion when I almost had to sit on my hands so that I would not end up strangling my mother. Like the time, she said my newly done highlights looked like someone had spat paan on my head. She said it as a joke but her criticism, even light-hearted, would sting. Now after having children of my own, I do understand a little better.” (Also Read: Aamna Sharif Celebrates Her Son, Arain's Fifth Birthday, Hubby Amit Kapoor Shares Celebration Pics)
