The one quality of having a BFF is of the surety of getting a reality check whenever required in life. While Bollywood is full of such hardcore besties, one such duo is Karan Johar and Twinkle Khanna. Often spotted at events together, or even being a part of each other’s shows, both Twinkle and Karan never leave a chance to give a blunt reality check to one another.
For the unversed, the ace director of Bollywood, Karan Johar shares a strong bond with Twinkle Khanna, an entrepreneur and wife of superstar, Akshay Kumar. They have known each other for many years now and have also claimed to be more of childhood buddies.

In the recent episode of Tweak India, Twinkle Khanna invited Karan Johar to be a part of an honest and candid conversation. While the entire conversation included some reality checks that the besties gave to each other in the most hilarious way, it was this one particular remark by Twinkle that caught our attention. In her conversation with Karan, she said:
“You are the Sima aunty of the movie business. You keep doing this matchmaking and your father did the same thing. When I was speaking to Waheeda Rahman, she mentioned that your father fixed up her marriage, it’s some genetic pre-disposition to get people together.”

Well, our beloved KJo has indeed been credited to the successful journey of some of the best Bollywood couples, from relationship to marriage. In fact, it is on his famous chat show, Koffee With Karan that many singletons have spoken their heart out about the person they liked the most from the film fraternity, and have gone ahead to manifest the relationship in reality. Agreeing to Twinkle's remark, Karan agreed to such a notion and mentioned:
“I take on the responsibility, like I have to do it. It just makes me very happy to do it. It’s like one of the agendas in my life. Vidya (Balan) called me the other day. It was her 12th anniversary, and I had introduced her to Siddharth Roy Kapoor. I was so touched by this call, more than any feedback for a film."
Further into the interview, Twinkle Khanna expressed her desire to never again grace her bestie, Karan’s chat show, Koffee With Karan. She mocked him for constantly provoking the guests on his show to speak about sex all the time. She even mimiced Karan while he asked such awkward questions in his show, and expressed her dislike about being enquired for such private questions. She said:
“I am not going to answer, that’s why I don’t come on Koffee with Karan.”
Well, we are loving this fun banter between Karan Johar and Twinkle Khanna.
